Our grandpuppy chihuahua absolutely loves the bed and no longer darts under the covers to sleep, allowing us to sleep because we know he won’t suffocate under there. Its so soft and inviting! I did make a long tube to put inside to push the cover up just a bit, which made it easier for him to crawl inside as the top seems to fall flat. Excellent product.

This looks like the top is thick enough to stand up, but itâs not like the picture shows, itâs very open in front with the top sagging down. My dog lays on the top, so I guess thatâs ok. Iâm going to continue to look for a cave type bed.

Overall, it’s a nice product!
I bought this bed for my 11-lb cat, but she hasn’t tried it yet. She definitely has her own mind! I was pleasantly surprised by its size; it’s bigger than I thought it would be. It looks cozy, although the top part that acts as the ‘lid’ of the cave doesn’t quite stay in place, and the foam on the bottom is thinner than the picture makes it seem.

Soft and Cushy
The bed is the correct size for both of our dogs but the top, or the cover doesnât stay up, so our dog slept on top of it for the most part. If our present dogs were more like our old dogs, who loved to burrow under covers, then this would have worked for them, or if we had cats, they would have loved to have slept in this bed. The only questionable thing about this bed is the cover does not come off and if you wash it, you have to wash the whole thing, so drying may be an issue and you would have to dry it completely so that doesnât stay damp or cause mildew. The quality is pretty good and reasonably priced for the size and type of bedding.

I bought 2 of these for my dogs. I was expecting a ” cave” as per the photo in the ad but the top lies flat . I’ve had the beds for a couple of days and so far I haven’t been able to coax my dogs into their cave beds. They do like laying on top of it though, but that defeats the purpose of the bed.
