Comfortable, durable, and well made
I ordered Dr. Frederick’s Original Soft Gel Toe Protectors after trying a number of other soft-gel tube-like toe protectors. I needed something that would stop my hammertoes on my both feet from painfully rubbing up against my big toes. The other brands and designs of toe protectors simply didn’t work, shredded, or fit poorly. Finally, I ordered Dr. Frederick’s and am so glad I did. They were easy to put on, so comfortable, and their cushioning worked very well Thank you, Dr. Frederick. FYI: I’m 5ft 11in and bought the large size.

Looks silly works great.
I thought this was the silliest looking thing but there were a lot of different types, brands, options so I thought I would try it. I have pain in my big toes on the part that would touch if you put both your feet together. This product was a life saver. They are comfortable, they feel a little funny at first but you get used to it pretty quick. They aren’t hot and you forget you’re wearing them.

Superior customer service!Original review: A gummy bear and mochi had a baby! I have a sad, damaged and painful big toenail and I jog 5-6 days a week so I need some padding/protection for it. This crazy looking thing, once trimmed, works quite well to minimize the discomfort during workouts. It doesn’t offer total relief because I still have a messed up nail, any pressure is painful (no fault of the product).After 3 uses and washes it became sticky so I dusted it inside and out with cornstarch as recommended and must do so each time from then on. So far it’s lasted with no tears or nicks for a few weeks but I have noticed a little patch of fungus developing on the skin directly next to my nail (there was none before). *So beware that this sleeve doesn’t breathe and traps moisture inside. Clean it and your toe very well after each use or you may suffer this as well.

GAME CHANGER for a professional hiker!
My day job is to take peoples dogs off leash pack hiking on the mountain trails around Salt Lake City, Utah every morning all year long, rain, snow or shine! Needless to say, over the last 4 years of doing this, I have put a LOT of miles on my feet, and turning 40 next month, my tootsies aren’t getting any younger! The outer edges of my big toes tend to take a real beating and develop painful callouses, no matter how much I pumice and lotion and baby them when I’m not hiking. Besides hiking 3-5 miles for my day job, I’m also an avid recreational hiker and have conquered peaks like Timpanogos and Half Dome as well as long trails like The Wave, Redwood Forrest trail, golden cathedral, camelback mountain and many more in recent years and I will be hiking the Inca Trail in 3 weeks to summit Machu Picchu in Peru on my 40th birthday. I’ve been breaking in a new pair of boots for that trip, and decided to try these toe caps along with a new sock configuration to cut down on foot pain and I think I’ve hit on the winning combination! These toe caps are an absolute game changer and an integral part of my successful combo!For reference, I wear size 8.5 womens shoes and have small to average sized feet. Your Toes Will Feel Better
I use these Toe Protectors mainly on my two large toes to relieve pain I was experiencing from wearing some of my shoes. It seemed my toes were hurting especially on the tops and outside area as they were rubbing against that side of the shoes. It was very painful even by wearing socks. The shoe size seemed ok, but I could not walk well with the pain. I searched for a solution and found Dr. Frederick’s Soft Gel Toe Protectors. They have worked so well for me! Easy to slip on the toes, they stay put, and no pain while wearing my shoes. It has been a great idea and help for me. So happy with this product.

J’ai deux petits doigts crochus, un de chaque pied. Ils ont commencé à me faire très mal en marchant. J’avais l’impression de porter des chaussures trop petites, le bout du doigt écrasé, mais même pieds nus c’était la même chose.Il faut dire que j’ai acheté ces capuchons sans grand espoir, mais miracle! Plus de douleur. Ils sont facile à mettre, et restent bien en place pendant la journée. En plus ils ont l’air très discret, on ne les voit guère. Après lavage le gel me semble un peu collant, peut-être j’y mettrai du talc pour faciliter la mise en place.
