Impressed so far
So far we have been very impressed with these from the quality of the frame to the picture quality and easy to upload pictures to and set up. I was expecting it to be more difficult. We got 3 of them for various family members across the country. Wifi was super easy to set up. Seems to be a good pick for the price!

Decent features for the money, importing photos could be more robust
I bought this for my mother who is in a nursing home. She is not tech savvy, and it wouldn’t have internet, so I wanted something that would start up on its own, flip through hundreds of photos, and not care that it didn’t have internet. I had never heard of Dragon Touch, but I liked that it looked like a traditional photo frame and wouldn’t look out of place in her room. I was able to get this frame to do what I wanted, with some easy configuration. When I set it up, I told it to jump directly into photos and bypass the dashboard, and to flip through photos all day, and then turn off its display at night. It worked really well. The only issues I had were with getting photos on the frame. I’m pretty technical and one of the ways you can get photos on it is with FTP, so I set it up on my wifi and then connected to it with Transmit from a Mac. I exported all my photos as high resolution JPGs from Apple Photos and drug them all over in Transmit to send over to the frame. Within a few seconds, the frame quit responding to Transmit and disconnected. I found that if I dragged over one photo at a time, it would work fine, but if I tried to send a batch, it failed. The FTP functionality could definitely use some work. I had hundreds of photos, so dragging one at a time wasn’t gonna work, so then I formatted a USB stick and moved them over to it and then tried that. The USB stick never would mount, no matter how I formatted it, how many photos were on it, and I even tried multiple different USB sticks. After half an hour I gave up and tried the only remaining method – using an SD card. I formatted the SD card, drug over all the photos, then put that in the frame. It instantly recognized the card and asked if I wanted to import the photos, and I said yes. That worked fine, so then I had all the photos on the internal memory of the frame. The frame did 90% of what I wanted, but I wish the FTP and USB stick methods worked better, as the easiest would have been FTP. I also noticed that when I put the frame on “Randomize photos”, it uses the exact same random order every time, so…not very random. Other than those issues, I am pretty happy, for the price. I haven’t tried adding photos to the frame using an SD card, but I’ll get to try that pretty soon. The screen looks really nice and you can tell it’s running some flavor of Android and is decently responsive. I would definitely buy another one.

Dragon Touch has raised the bar!
Dragon Touch has raised the bar for digital picture frames. I have purchased several other frames in the past from other manufacturers, but the quality of the displays were always poor and grainy, and either too dark or too bright. This new frame is spectacular though. The resolution is superb, the colors are vibrant, and the brightness is fully adjustable. I was expecting the frame to be made of flimsy plastic like most other frames, but this one is made to be durable. It’s more like a computer monitor than an actual picture frame. It’s a little heavy, but I see that more as a positive attribute, and it should last for many years to come. The frame arrived in sturdy packaging, similar to the packaging from high-end laptops and tablets that I’ve purchased in the past. I am including some pictures of the packaging and contents to show that the manufacturer has definitely taken pride in their product. One of the features that I enjoy the most is that there are multiple ways to upload photos & videos to the frame (Wi-Fi, SD card, USB drive, email, FTP, etc.). While you can set your stored images to display as a configurable slideshow (randomly or in sequential order, and at an adjustable interval), I was more concerned about the possibility of getting screen burn-in if a single image was left on for too long. To test this, I set a fixed image and left it displaying at full screen brightness for several days. There was no burn-in whatsoever, so I was very pleased. The included remote control is very handy as well. While the frame is equipped with a touchscreen, I prefer using the remote so that I don’t end up with fingerprint smudges on the screen (I guess I have a bit of OCD when it comes to that). The remote requires two AAA batteries (not included) to operate, so make sure you have a couple on-hand, although you can easily access all of the frame’s functions and settings without it by solely using the touchscreen if you prefer. While most frames come with a hinged, fold-out “leg” for freestanding placement, this frame is equipped with a round plastic loop that you attach to the rear. At first I thought this was an odd design, but now I see it as ingenious. Unlike hinged legs, this design is less likely to break. I tried placing the frame in various locations throughout my home to see where I liked it best, and to test it in various lighting conditions. I currently have it on an end table in my living room, but I plan to eventually mount it to my living room wall utilizing the included wall mount eventually instead. The wall mount is two sturdy metal plates (plus included mounting hardware) that should be very sturdy, but easy enough to take down when needed. One plate mounts to the wall, and the other to the back of the frame. The plate on the frame then slides securely into the wall-mounted plate. Also, the plate that attaches to the frame can be positioned for either horizontal (landscape) or vertical (Portrait) display.I have been very impressed with this frame so far, and I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed!

I was quite excited to purchase the Dragon Touch Digital Picture Frame 16.7-inch 4:3 Touch Screen, but my experience with the product has been deeply disappointing. From the outset, the device failed to meet basic expectations. The lack of sound is a major issue, especially when attempting to play videos. Despite following all instructions and troubleshooting, there was no audio output, making it impossible to enjoy multimedia memories. Additionally, the USB-to-device functionality is incredibly slow, and transferring files is a tedious process that often doesnât work as intended. This inefficiency is frustrating, especially for a product in this price range, where youâd expect seamless performance. The device feels far from worth the investment. The advertised features and premium price set certain expectations, but the poor functionality and slow performance leave much to be desired. The inability to copy files effectively from a USB drive further diminishes its usability, and it simply doesnât deliver on its promise as a modern digital picture frame. While the display might be decent, the overall experience has left me questioning its value, and I am unsure how to proceed with a product that fails on such fundamental levels.

La app para pasar las fotos NO está en español o en inglés. No tiene opción para cambiar el idioma. En el marco sà se puede seleccionar idioma, pero algunas opciones siguen estando en un idioma como ruso.

Description of the product is not detailled enough.Screen is well 15″ but under 16:9 format. It means that the pictures do not fit and are not shown in the full frame and are closer to 13″ than 15″.Thus very dispointing even if the quality of pictures is good.

It is very good digital photo frame and I loved it.
