We had been purchasing a different brand of duck/sweet potato treats that our dog loved, and I was trying to order them again, but they were “not available at this time”. So I found these Palmate duck wrapped sweet potato treats and decided to give them a try. I’m very happy I did! They have much more duck meat per stick of sweet potato – so much so that I was able to cut each stick into 3 pieces and the pieces had enough duck and enough sweet potato to satisfy our dog! I was able to cut them with scissors, as they were not hardened and stiff. I’ll be ordering them again when our supply runs low. It’s great to have a healthy treat that the dog loves!

The sweet potato are soft, not hard and there is a good amount of duck wrapped around it. My extremely picky dog likes it which is saying a lot.

SHOCKED!
My dog, a cairn terrier of 15 years, has always been a finicky eater, or maybe a selective eater is a better description. She has turned her nose up at many foods or treats that any other dog would snap up. Recently, she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. She needed to go on a low-fat diet. It turns out the chicken jerky I had been feeding her was 20% fat (!). The target was for food that is <3%. These fit the bill. BUT TO MY SHOCK, she eats these like crazy. Begs for them. Grabs the bag and drags it out. Sheâs like an addict looking for her next fix. So try them. BTW? Iâm have no relationship with this company, the manufacturer, nor Amazon (weâll, I have Prime)
