Dumbbell Hangover…
The metal is sufficiently sturdy and putting it together was a breeze. My major complaint and what I would warn people about is that each of the rails have super thin bases and at the furthest distance my standard rubber hex dumbbells of all weights hang over or barely grab. The rails either need to be allowed to be placed further apart or better yet would be making the rails longer at the base to better support the weights.

Nice and strong stand. Great once figuring out and adjusting for my dumbbells size
The main thing for me on this dumbbell stand is that I had to make sure to see the size of the handle of my weights before finalizing the installation of the crossbars so I could be sure of their right position and distance from each other. The stand itself is strong and stable. Took me about an hour to assemble since I wanted to make sure that everything was done correctly.

Solid, Space-Saving Solution
The heavy-duty steel frame feels rock-solidâno wobbling or bending, even when fully loaded with a mix of neoprene and hex dumbbells. It easily handles the weight without flinching.Assembly was quick and simple with clear instructions. The adjustable tiers are a smart featureâyou can customize the spacing to fit various dumbbell sizes or even a few kettlebells. It doesnât take up much floor space, but it holds a surprising amount of weight, which is great for maximizing a small gym area.No more tripping over dumbbells or wasting time hunting for matching pairs. This rack keeps everything visible, accessible, and off the floor. If you’re serious about home workouts and want a cleaner, more efficient space, this is a must-have.

Not a good, safe design especially for large dumbbells.
I was so excited to have a large weight rack to get my heavy weights up off of the floor. I have been building up to more weight and adding on pairs of dumbbells to my collection over the past year and had weights practically everywhere. My husband and I put this together and it went about how I expected it to go. We had a couple issues with it getting crooked or twisted while putting it together but eventually were able to assemble it correctly. There are two main issues that make this not safe for weights, especially heavier ones. I got this to use on 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 pound pairs. First the actual lip that the dumbbell grabs on to is too short and they do not catch well, it is easy to miss and they slide right off of the rack. The second thing is the actual spread of the bars that hold up the dumbbells. From bell to bell there is much too much space. I have a weider brand rack for my lighter weights that is made much better than this one and fits the weights snugly in between the two rails. This one has much too wide of a gap leaving lots of weight hanging unsupported and flopping around, especially if bumped. I was filling the weight rack and was actually injured pretty badly. I had the 40’s on the bottom rail and was loading up the 30’s and didn’t quite get the 35lb weight on the rail securely and it fell smashing my finger and taking all of the other weights with it to the floor. I really probably should have gotten stitches but am too stubborn for my own good sometimes. This may be suitable for very light weights but it still would not hold them safely so you have to be very careful when taking them on and off of the rack. I am actually scared to use it at all now. This definitely cannot “safely organize weights up to 1100lbs!!” like it claims. If you do get this rack, please be very careful but I definitely will NOT recommend it at all.

Only holds certain dumbbell’s that we have
So we were fairly excited to get this dumbbell rack, we have a home personal gym that is pretty large and we have a dumbbell rack on one side of the room but not the other despite having extra dumbbells kicking around on the ground. So, getting another dumbbell rack just sound sensible. The rack itself has a fairly solid base. Itâs not that itâs extremely heavy duty itâs just that they have the legs of the base are fairly large so it makes the base very sturdy because you cannot tip it over. The dumbbell rack looks just like you would see in any other gym, except for the only knock that I have with it is overtime we have picked up a lot of different types of dumbbells. Some are that silver solid metal kind (forgive me I donât know exactly what itâs made of) but we also have some that are rubber weighted and different models like that so we assumed dumbbells are pretty much universal which means a dumbbell rack is also the same.We have found out that is not accurate and some of the rubber dumbbells are just a little different sized than the others. On our existing dumbbell rack those rubber dumbbells will still fit. On this new rack we got the dumbbells can rest on the dumbbell rack but they do not fit over the lip of the dumbbell rack like they do on the other one which means the dumbbell rack itself is just a hair shorter somewhere than it is on other dumbbell racks. The dumbbells will still sit right on it but they wonât lock themselves in, which means from a distance they still look OK but there is a chance somebody could hit it or do something to it and they could fall over. Very unlikely, but it is a bit of an accident hazard.
