I am most unhappy! The Dyson water purifier I received worked for one night; then shut down completely. It is a refurbished unit; however, it came with some sort of a warranty. Certainly one night of operation was not my contention when I purchased it. Now I have to take it to someone who can tell me what the problem is. I have no idea of what that will cost. Again; I am not happy.

Great humidity control and air quality peace of mind
The Dyson humidifier is head and shoulders better than the competition. The refurbed model I bought worked perfectly with no signs of any use.

They are just sending faulty units
Problems started with the setup, for some reason it didn’t want to connect to wifi and had to connect it to 2.4 Ghz network even when it supports 5Ghz.Then the humidifier refused to work, with multiple errors in the app and after extensive (and very confusing) troubleshooting still didn’t work, the errors went away the next day without doing anything. Humidifier was still a big let down, readings from the machine gave me 50% humidity in the room even though I have two separate sensors showing 35% humidity (which is correct). The machine gives you the option to go up to 70% humidity but in reality it never went up more than 4% after a couple of hours.Another function that didn’t work out of the box was oscillation mode. Just one of the two fins moved when selecting oscillation and the other one is just stuck, showing an error in the app with no troubleshooting option. (probably the motor is dead)These units are definitely not being tested for refurbishing and Woot support won’t send a replacement until they receive the old unit. If you read reviews in reddit you will see a ton of issues with this model so i’m better off returning and getting a full refund.

Is Dyson becoming less awesome, I know you have it in you, Do better!
Love this when it works. But when it is clogged, which is often, it is a pain. I did buy this used and I wonder if it was returned for the same or similar reason, or if the product itself is… subpar.I have always loved Dyson products. I do not love their recent ( the past 7 years) customer service. I am expected to drive my Dyson hair dryer 9 hours in one direction to deliver it in person to a repair shop. They tell me they do not allow mailing of the hair dryer.

I thought it’s a Dyson it’s worth trying even if others had bad reviews. Just don’t buy… Plugged it in and the first thing it did was advise to call customer service. Item did not work, now I have to deal with the hassle of unpacking it, repacking it, and getting it shipped back. Save yourself some hassle please, it’s just not worth it.

They send broken items
Got the item, was under the assumption I bought a new unit. It worked for five minutes then made a loud pop noise and wonât even turn on now. Apparently itâs a refurbished itemâ¦. Absolutely not refurbished, not new, and not functional. Shame on you Amazon

Pump Column Failure after 10 minutes
Failed after 10 minutes. Dyson clearly has a critical design failure. I was SO excited for this product at such a fantastic price point, but sadly it isnât worth a single dollar if you need humidification. Wish I had researched first and checked Reddit, wouldnât have wasted my time and money nor Amazonâs shipping efforts. Returning and will not buy again after the research I did while troubleshooting.
