This is the second EarthLite half bolster and I love it! As a mobile massage therapist, I need something light that fits easily in my massage bag.I purchased the half jumbo bolster, but I didnât realize how big it was! So I returned it.I put the green half bolster next to my older purple round bolster. Theyâre the same length. I only use the round bolster when my regular clients ask for it. The round bolster is nicer, but I have to carry it separately. It doesnât fit in my massage bag. Itâs much bulkier.Some people complained that the half bolster is ânot a realâ bolster or you canât even feel it, and while itâs true, that it doesnât support the client as well as a larger bolster, Iâve been using this style for years.I chose it for convenience and practicality purposes. It holds up well for many years, as long as you take care of it, like anything. Itâs not as flimsy as other people have claimed.If I had a massage studio, I would have different sized bolsters to choose from.

Perfect for my sciatic pain!
Occasionally, I have some sciatic pain that makes it impossible to sleep. I noticed when I went to the massage therapist how wonderful it feels when she puts this kind of pillow under my knees (when I’m on my back) and under my feet (when I’m face down). I was using a regular pillow at home in the same way and it just wasn’t working.This comes in a very sturdy vinyl zip cover. It’s also much firmer than I imagined. But it still works. It’s also great when I’m using a theraband to strengthen my feet for ballet. I rest my leg with the pillow under my Achilles tendon.

good for neck, if you have neck pain/pressure from sleeping
I have upper back and neck pain. Pillows hurt my neck(when sleeping on my back), so for the past 3 years I have used a rolled towel instead of a pillow – placed at the base of my skull/top of neck.I bought this and the same night and slept on it. when I woke up, my neck felt..perfect. its the perfect size, allowing slight curvature of the cervical spine – without folding your neck/head back in a pain-full position.I now sleep with and use this, every night, in instead of a pillow, and when I wake up, my neck no longer hurts.*** AND it has also helped my with my bruxism.

Not what I wanted
Description was too vague. I wanted a firm bolster, and this is VERY soft and compressible. I am not sure that it is usable for anything. THEN it came in a box that was 6-8 times bigger than the product loaded with paper filler. SERIOUSLY, overkill as the product is not fragile. Huge waste of resources that I paid almost as much for (shipping and handling $8)as the product itself (product $12).

Best Purchase Ever
I use this half bolster pillow in bed to relieve hip joint pain. I place it under my knees when sleeping on my back and between them when sleeping on my side. It is the only thing that lets me sleep on my side without pain. I totally love it!

I bought this half bolster and the whole one. I really thought I’d use the whole one more, but am finding I’m getting more use from this one. Unless a person has serious back issues or is over 200 lbs this one works great.
