No blindspots and convenient 2-way talk option
I followed the instruction manual for the setup and paring worked well. As my picture is shown, it has all the necessary pieces so I did not need to look for any additional cable or plug. I like its pan-tilt-zoom feature. I can adjust the camera to get a full view of the room with a simple touch. So I can monitor my grandma’s movements without any blindspots. The video quality is also good. The images are clear and sharp.I also like the 2-way talk option. With this option, she can simple ask for me or her caregiver for anything that she needs. The audio is crisp and clear so the conversation was easy with this device. I also like the temperature monitoring that can alert me when the temperature falls outside of the comfortable range.

The 2-way talk feature is great for communicating with my loved one, and I love the built-in call button for added safety. The camera has night vision, so it’s useful even in low light. It also has temperature monitoring and a med reminder, which is a nice touch. The pan-tilt-zoom feature allows for easy adjustments, although it doesnât require WiFi, which is perfect for our setup.

I am reviewing: Elderly Monitor with Camera and Audio, 2-Way Talk Room Monitors for Elderly, Call Button, Med Reminder, Temp Monitoring, Night Vision, Pan-Tilt-Zoom Video Monitor for Elderly Care & Caregivers/No WiFiThis product is relatively easy to set up. There is a significant latency, at least in my home. My loved one was not able to hear me clearly and I can not find any way to increase volume on the camera speaker. The PTZ is not automatic, which I had expected it to be. This function is available on cameras that cost less than the price of a meal, but not on this one. Double click on the PTZ button and it brings up the arrows, but there is, again, significant latency, so watching a moving person is difficult. The picture is decent, and the screen is a good size. I only have one camera monitor set up, and I tried to pair another brand but it won’t do it.I inserted an SD card but I see nothing in the instructions, nor on the devices, to instruct how the video can be viewed. 24/7 video monitoring was an important feature and a big reason for ordering this product. Knowing if my loved one has forgotten something by reviewing video is of vital importance.Another missing feature is a passive alarm. The alarm mentioned in the listing is for the patient to use in calling the caregiver. There is nothing that alerts the caregiver if the patient moves out of range or falls, and since the PTZ is not automatic, the caregiver will only know something is wrong by checking the monitor frequently. I have the device set for English, yet the middle of the screen still displays Please format the card – in Chinese – but there are no instructions to format it for this device.If you’re using the VOX function, just remember that it is a battery saving function that doesn’t allow the screen to remain on. As far as I can tell, the screen does not light up again until you push a button. It does not light up for movement of sounds.

Monitor is versatile
This monitor is easy and simple to use. It can easily be a baby monitor as well, which is the way we plan to use it. I like that it is a two way talk, so if mama is in the room with baby and needs something from dad thatâs in a different room, they can just talk through the monitor. The screen is clear and you get a nice picture. No wifi needed, just plug in and ready to use. Thereâs different music or white noise to choose from. The camera can rotate around and zoom in or out. Overall, a really nice camera monitor. Great use for elders, baby, or when you have a sick person to care for. If you own a nursing home, this would be helpful and nice to have. I highly recommend.

It has it’s own screen so you don’t need an app. Set up is really easy, just turn it on. You can look around with the camera too, which is nice for rowdy kids. You can communicate to them and hear from them. There are a lot of nice features that I wouldn’t have expected. The build quality is nice, and feels durable enough to last for a while.
