This little guy is super cute and does its job well.My favorite things: It comes with the plastic measuring cup, it holds 7 eggs vs 6, and it has an auto shut off.At my nutritionist’s suggestion, I added boiled eggs to my breakfast routine to feel more satisfied. Yogurt, cheese and fruit just weren’t getting me there. I had an old egg cooker that I had pushed to the back of the cabinet a few years ago but when I pulled it out I didn’t like the look of it so I didn’t want to use it.I boiled eggs on the stove for a while but I couldn’t hear the timer from places in my home so they would get overcooked and pop open in the pot. I would find my sweet and curious cat snooping at the kitchen door trying to figure out what was going on with the popping.That happened a few times and then I committed to finding something to help.When I saw this cute little guy, I wanted to try right away.Glad I did. As a person battling cancer and trying to thrive during treatment, tolerable protein and good nutrition is essential. Being constantly in varying states of fatigue makes meal prep a real chore. I’ve transitioned to mostly leafy greens, chicken or turkey, beans and eggs. I like to have a couple of hard boiled eggs with protein waffles and in my salads.This gadget is so much more convenient than boiling eggs in a pot on the stove! Clean up takes seconds. The eggs are so easy to peel, no egg white sticking to the shell. And since it turns itself off, my husband doesn’t need to worry that I’ve forgotten I had put eggs on to boil (leaving no water in the pot, a mess and ruined pot).I love love love this gizmo!Oh, and for those in western states, this uses so very little water. So it’s very good for water conservation.It doesn’t make any noise that I’ve noticed. It’s large enough to cook 7 eggs in under ten minutes and the eggs come out perfect and delicious. It’s so fast, I cooked 1.5 dz eggs in under 30 minutes!

Game changer. Cooks the eggs perfectly and they are SO easy to peel. I love the egg piercer tool which helps with cooking and peeling and making sure they don’t explode. Definitely worth the buy and it is reasonably priced. Huge time saver as well and the eggs come out the same each time.Only call pit is make sure you remove them once they are cooked or they will keep cooking.

The cooker does a good job cooking the eggs. The lines on the water cup are really easy to read (another brand of cooker I had, they were so hard to see) which is all the difference in the world. But it cooked them evenly (which the old one did not), which is the most important part to me.Otherwise an uneventful operation, which is great, I don’t want surprises in an egg cooker! It did its job and it did it well. I poured the water in, turned it on, it cooked to specifications. I would highly recommend. My biggest obstacle for making eggs is I hate turning on a burner and boiling them (it’s the making sure I start timing at the right moment. At least her boiled takes less precision), but my son and I do love soft boiled eggs
