LOVE: Kids and Moms ‘love’ our tumblers! The ‘Original’ Glass Mason jar cup designed by Elk and Friends. We’ve listened, tested and fine-tuned our products to meet every one of your needs. Also, the extra bonus is these cups use the same straws & sleeves as our 10oz stainless steel drinking cups. Also available in 12oz & 16oz.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: This set includes 4 * 8oz mason glass jars, 4 * silicone sleeves, 8 lids (4 Straw Lids with spout + 4 * leak-proof & air-tight lids), 4 silicone straws with stoppers and straw cleaning brush.
STRAW LIDS WITH SPOUT: Our straw lids have a spout so they can also be used to drink from with the sipping spout. A great way for little ones to start to learn how to drink from a cup.
STRAW STOPPERS: Our toddler cups have straws with stoppers. No more mess with toddlers pulling out their straws. Our straws are also a little wider for those thicker smoothie drinks.
SLEEVES: Our silicone sleeves bring fun to daily drinks. Not only bright and colorful they are cute with a few surprises from some of elk’s friends hiding amongst the leaves. The sleeve also provides protection from bumps and drops as well as greater grip for those little hands.

Impressive!
LOVE these! So far the quality has been very impressive. I have been wanting glass cups for our little guy for a while, but hesitated as heâs in his throwing stage. These have held up so far from tosses from the high chair, thanks to the silicone sleeves!Easy for my 18 month old to carry around and hold. They are NOT completely spill proof, but that was expected since there is no valve in the straw. The lid is leak proof.Theyâre also incredibly easy to take apart and clean. The rubber insert on the lids are easily removable, and a standard straw brush works well on the straws. Not sure if theyâre advertised as completely dishwasher safe, but Iâve washed them in the dishwasher with no issues so far (top rack, other than the glass itself).

Best Smoothie cup I found for my 18 month old
Does it leak : This was the big one. Ok, so you do still need to watch them with these cups. My little guy figured out how to get some to come out, but it is not very much and he has to turn it upside down and hold it there and shake hard, and for a minute or two for this to happen. And ever then just a little comes out. but it doesn’t leak if they leave it on its side, or when they drink even if they hold it up while they drink. Like I said he has to really try and mostly its what is left in the straw that will eventually come out. All in all I am still impressed with the lack of mess he can make with a smoothie thanks to these cups.Hold – The size is perfect and is so easy for our little one to grip. Reduces them dropping the cup.Durability – It is basically a mason jar wrapped up in silicone, so I was nervous about it breaking. He has dropped it from the counter top to the tile, and it did not break ! Very impressed.Straw – I love that the straw is soft, and it can not come out of the cup once you put the lid on. Our son likes to take straws out, and he can pull it up a little but there is a part on the straw that won’t allow it to come out.Color : I love the colors ! We mix and match and he loves getting to choose which color straw, lid, and cup to use.Cleaning : You do have to wash the straw and use the straw cleaner that it comes with to get all of the smoothie seeds and stuff out it, but to me I knew that would have to be done. After that clean up is a breeze. There is the cup, the lid, and the silicon like ring that goes in the lid that is removable (this is how it doesn’t leak) but it is really simple to clean. Bottom line, there is no place for the cup to get mold or anything like that. I do leave the silicone that is on the outside of the mason jar on when I wash. And I do hand wash, not because you have to just because I generally hand wash all of his stuff.I tell all the moms I know that are looking for a easy way to serve smoothies about these cups.

My search is over!!
As crazy as it may sound, finding the right drinking cups for my kids has been challenging. Seems ridiculous right?! There are so many choices out there. In my attempts to find the âright oneâ I think Iâve tried most on the market, to no avail. The ones Iâve brought in the past have either fallen apart, broken too easily, the kids didnât like them, they werenât spill proof, or they were not cups the kids would continue using in a year or two. Finally my search is over!! I found Elk and Friends – and yes, they feel like true friends. This review is on the long end, but I have a lot to say about these fun cups.In an attempt to try to problem solve our on-going issue of kids knocking over their drinking cups, EVERYDAY, sometime multiple times a day, I was back on Amazon looking for a better option then what we had used in the past. Since we prefer to use glass and stainless-steel cups over plastic, my best option seemed to repurchase some mediocre silicone cup toppers we have used but have since fallen apart. While looking for these toppers, I came across the Elk and Friends mason jar cups for kids. FINALLY someone is making these for kids with silicone sleeves! I already use 16oz mason jars with silicone sleeves as my daily drinking cup so I was VERY EXCITED to find a mini version for the kids – in fun colors too!! And with matching lids and straws!!After reading all the reviews and visiting Elk and Friends website, I decided to give them a try and ordered the 4pack of 8oz glass jars that come with sleeves, and matching lids and straws. They arrived quickly and were packed very well in a cute eco-friendly box. Everything arrived as advertised and in perfect condition. The kids love them! And I could not be happier! We use them for everything! Water, tea, veggie/fruit shakes, juice, among other things. These have become the only cups the kids want to use. And since we they use more than 1 cup a day, I realized the 4 pack was not going to be enough for us. Two weeks after my initial order, I followed up with an order for the 6 pack of the 8oz glass cups as well as the 4 pack of the 8oz stainless steel cups. Once again, everything with my orders was seamless and perfect!A few notes about why we LOVE these cups:1. Eco friendly. Whenever possible we prefer to use glass and stainless for beverages and food. Elk and Friends glasses are perfect for us with their glass and stainless steel options. Also love their simple yet cute packaging.2. Versatile. Use them as cups or containers. Great for kids and adults. In addition to the straw lid these cups also come with a matching leak proof lid. These are awesome for turning your cup into a snack or food storage container. The lids also work with our other regular mouth mason jars. So we can use them in the freezer or fridge for our other food storage. I know itâs not important but I love having the fun colors for my mason jars. It makes my mundane duties more fun.3. Easy to replace glassware. Yes, glass is not indestructible but replacements glasses are easy to get. We have purchases other brands of glasses with silicone sleeves but the glass was thin and they all broke quickly. Itâs been challenging to get replacements for these other brands, and honestly I donât want to spend any more money on them because they will be broken before we really use them. This is not an issue with Elk and Friends mason jar cups. Mason jars are much more robust and much easier to find. Also, when used on the jar, the lids and sleeves provide protection. We have had 2 cups fall from about 36â height onto tile flooring – they both had their sleeves and lids on and neither of them broke, cracked or chipped. That is a huge win in my book.4. Fun colors and matching lids and straws. The kids love to mix and match lids and straws for fun combinations of colors.5. Well designed. I love the details that have gone into the design of these. The straws have built in stoppers so kids canât yank the straw out of the cups. This can be a safety thing as much as a parent sanity helper. I received a bad eye injury when a kid yanked a plastic straw out of a cup which hit me in the eye. You know itâs bad when you canât open your eye for a week and the optometrist says âWow!â when they see the injury. I realize that the straw that come with these cups are silicone and much softer than plastic straw â so there is less chance of injuries â but itâs still a great feature to have the straw stopper. Also, these straws are tapered on the bottom to allow fluids to flow better. Brilliant!6. Awesome customer service. I have had no issues with any of my orders, but I reached out to Elk and Friends company to inquire about the availability of their 12oz cups. (My oldest wanted some bigger cups.) The owner responded very quickly, warmly yet professionally, and has kept me updated on the availability. I think we are friends now 🙂 I just ordered the 12oz ones today!! I have no doubt that if there was some fluke with any order, it would be promptly addressed and the customer would be made better than whole. They have also gone the extra mile to follow up on my orders to make sure all was well. Who does that anymore?? Its companies like these I love supporting.7. They make baby food jars too. Years back we bought some for storing our homemade baby food in – freezer and fridge. No babies now but we still use the little jars for a variety of things. These Elk and Friends cups have been a lifesaver for us – a true godsend. The kids love them, and we are so happy to find these perfect kids cups.We donât have any cons. These cups really have been that good for us. I read a review where someone took a star away because they arenât leak proof. This has not been an issue for us at all – not even a concern. Yes, if the cup is full and on its side, liquid may leak out from the straw hole. That should be expected since that happens with pretty much every straw and lid situation. On top of that, these cups arenât advertised as being leak proof with the straw lid so donât let that deter you. The other lids without the holes have been leak proof for us.All in all, these cups have saved us countless spills and water messes. They are a little more expensive than buying cheap plastic cups, but they are healthier, more durable, and much more versatile. Plus they can be your forever cups. Definitely worth the money! My only regret is that I didnât get these sooner. Learn from my mistakes and just go with these mason jar cups from Elk and Friends!!

These cups are fantastic, my 2 and 3 yo drink from them every day, toss them on the floor, tip them over the works and they rarely spill and haven’t broken once. They hold a good quantity of juice/milk and a great for thicker drinks such as smoothes. 5 stars, would recommend ð

Great product

Have yet to use it with the lid on but the plastic does not feel of good quality and things just donât screw on nicely. The glass is quite thick and heavy though.

These cups are lovely, the colours are really nice, they are fairly sturdy considering that they are glass with the silicone cover, lid attaches securely and itâs great that there is the option to use as a storage container with the extra lid and seals provided. We use for milk as they are really easy to clean unlike plastics beakers that sometimes start to smell after repeated use, a brush is also included for thorough cleaning of the straw. They also come beautifully boxed so would make a lovely gift.
