Worked on my 10+ year old S55 passport!
I’m glad they used the same plugs for a long time. My S55 passport stopped working so I called Escort support and they said a new cord would fix the issue and it did! Great price and fast shipping, the official website was/ is out of stock!

Could be a little longer
Product replaced the original cord which had worn out. It works well and provides a USB outlet to boot so I can eliminate a single to double power source so as to provide an option for me or a passenger to charge their phone.It could be a little longer to accomodate potentially other cars or rentals which may have the power source located lower on the dash. But it works great with the noise cancellation button.

ESCORT smart power cord replacement
The new cord arrived as advertised and immediately was installed in place of an older cord that was starting to fall apart at the connections to the detector. This one looks very nice and worked with no problem so we hope it will last as long as the original cord which lasted about 20 years.

Do not buy; I tried to give it 0 stars
This product is junk. I purchased it to replace the original cord that came with my radar detector. The black cover around the wires cracked within a month on the first one that I purchased. I requested a return and was offered a replacement. I should have just returned it. I opted for the replacement thinking that I may have gotten a bad cord only to get a second one that did the same thing. It was too late to return the second on now I’m stuck with having to purchase another one from a different vendor hoping that it will be of better quality. Leave this junk where it is; don’t buy.
