How to change the receives’ battery?
1. Unscrew the notch in the receiver’s back cover and remove the cover when the arrow is in the open position.
2. Place the CR2032 battery into the battery compartment with the positive terminal facing up and the negative terminal facing down.
3. Close the back cover, then unscrew the back cover at the notch so that the arrow is in the closed position.

No more lost keys
Love this product. I misplace my keys no & then, but last time, it took me hours to find them. They WERE in the room that I thought, and checked first, but they slipped of the counter onto the floor. With my frantic searching, I moved things around and they slid under my suitcase. That night, I ordered this. Key tag that goes on your key chain isn’t too big & “alarm” works well. With 4 fobs, and a great price I can definitely recommend.

I use this for my cat
I bought this to keep up with my cat, after she got locked up in my shop. At night, I couldn’t find her. She’s old and deaf, so calling her was not an option. I looked for about an hour. I looked all through my shop, my garage, the yard, EVERYWHERE! Went back to my shop, and there she was, up in the loft, curled up asleep on a box in a corner. I’m glad I was persistant, because I might not have gone back out there for weeks! I searched amazon for something where I might be able to locate her. I don’t want a tracking device or app. This device was perfect. I hung one of these tags on her collar. Now, before I leave my shop, I click the green button on the remote control, and I can locate her easily. Then, I click the purple one for my keys, and my life is so much easier. Keeping up with the remote control is another story ð I love that there are 4 options for color coding. I can put them on other things I can’t seem to keep up with. If you have multiple pets, this would be ideal.

For the keys, a great job. Not as thin as I’d like to track other items.
The intent was to be able to locate my “Ring o’ Keys” which have a mind of their own or are assisted in getting lost by a ghost. Works beautifully. The fob is lightweight and so far, the battery creates a loud enough sound to be easily located. The sound is also distinct enough not to be confused with other notification alerts or devices, but it will be the same sound for all the fobs; only color-coding sets them apart.I would like for the fob to be a little thinner to track other items like a wallet, but using a thin wire retaining clip, and looping it on the fold of the wallet allowed it to be used as a tracker. It hangs out like a rabbits foot, but I keep my wallet in my front pocket so it cannot be pulled out without my knowledge. You do have to keep track of the remote, but that is easily done if you are consistent in putting it back on it’s stand. The stand is lightweight and not cat-proof in their “gravity monitoring activities.” (Yes, that is why cat’s push any object off a table.)

I bought a similar one a few years back. One feature I really like is that it is NOT smart. I just want my keys to beep so I can find them. I always keep them in the same spot, but every once in awhile I get distracted and don’t put keys where they belong. I have missed appointments because I can’t find keys.Important: When you buy a car from a dealer make it part of the deal to get a spare engine start key. It will cost you $400 + or minus to replace a lost computer chipped car key. Most importantly, this remote beeper was not very loud. If you have a toggle attached to cell phone and it’s in a purse, you will barely hear it. It helps, but could be louder.

Great Bang for Buck!
I’ve bought this twice now, because I want to tag more items. It’s loud, has good range, and is husband proof. My husband loses EVERYTHING. He even managed to somehow lose this remote in the driveway and ran it over with the truck at least once! It still works perfectly well even though it’s a little uglier now. 10/10. And now we can tell our remotes apart.

I bought these mostly to be able to find our tv/firestick remotes. If you have kids, you know.With the provided sticky tabs and keyring, its working well. I also wrapped in tape to prevent kid from picking off the sticky tab just while fidgeting.Also added ones to my wallet and keys. Cuz I lose things too.Also added some to my kid. No really 🙂 I added one to his backpack. And I’ve even given him one to keep in his pocket when he goes out to play. He won’t come when I call, but when I beep him he comes straight in with no complaining. #winning. (It went through the laundry once and still works perfectly!)It doesn’t have too much range though so it won’t work if he at the park or at his friends house.Once I even brought the remote with me to an event and let my kid wander a bit. Beeped him when I lost him in the crowd and he came straight back. (Obviously I wouldn’t trust this for small kiddos, or big/busy public places or a replacement for proper supervision. But my kid is a bit older and I don’t need to hover while giving him a chance to practice being autonomous.)Only problem is we have 2 set of these, so when I push a button, both tags of that colour will beep. Can make things a bit harder to track down, but not a huge deal.
