Q: Why is the VeSync app showing disconnected constantly?
A: The scale will power off 20 seconds after displaying your body indexes in order to save power. During that time, it will show “disconnected”. To reconnect, turn the scale back on and open the app.
Q: How do multiple users use the same scale?
A: There are 2 ways: (1) Multiple Users with Separate VeSync Accounts. Please note only 5 VeSync accounts can pair with the smart scale at a time. (2) Multiple Users with a Shared VeSync Account. Users who create or log in to a VeSync account can create multiple user profiles within their account. All users can log in to the same account (on their own smartphones) without requiring the other users to log out.
Q: How to do firmware update?
A: Please follow these simple steps: (1) Turn on your phone Bluetooth. (2) Light up the scale. (3) Open the app and click the scale picture to go to the device page. Wait for several seconds for it to connect to Bluetooth. There will be a Bluetooth icon that appears in blue on the screen display when it’s connected. (4) Follow the in-app firmware update instruction to update it. Do not let the scale display turns off when connecting or updating.

Great accurate scale that’s easy to read
We have a really old house so our floors are a bit unlevel in places. The fact that this has little arrows telling you when you’re not properly on the scale is great for accuracy. My husband has a scale that can sometimes give different weights because he has to adjust where he puts it on the floor (our bathroom isn’t big enough or level enough to have the scale where it needs to be at all times). Battery life is definitely a plus. It seems a little ridiculous, such a small thing, but the fact that the battery lasts forever and I don’t have to track down a bunch of batteries when it does need recharging is just something I really love. The app works well and I’ve never had a problem with connectivity. I have it linked to apple health which exports the data to my LoseIt! app (way cheaper than myfitnesspal). Sometimes when I go into the app, it won’t have my data so you just open the Vesync app and click on your scale and just doing that will send the weight info to your other apps.As far as their own software, I can’t say that I’ve really used it, nor do I think I will. For their programs/app functions, it makes it really sound like a one stop shop but if you start using it, you’ll quickly find flaws -I’m definitely someone that trusts individually focused apps/programs more than do-it-all apps. I already use LoseIt! for my calorie tracker and it breaks down my macros for me so I don’t really care about that feature, the only thing I was interested in from Vesync (I should mention that that is the app you download for the Etekcity scale) was the meal planner but that is pretty junky. Instead of finding meals that fit your calorie and macro targets, it simply uses something like AI to find food items that meet your targets. A recommended lunch item for me was corn starch (not like part of a recipe, just straight corn starch lol) so yeah, can’t recommend that.I know it’s a little pricey when it comes to just using it as an advanced scale (bone density, fat, muscle etc.) but the fact that it’s reliable, rechargeable, and accurate just makes it worth it to me. Especially since you can use your HSA account to purchase it. Yes please!

Great tool for weight management
I love the data that this scale provides. Works well, weight seems to be accurate compared to the scale in the MDs office. Read out is big and bright enough to see easily. The app is great. Very useful. I would buy this again.

Best scale ever! The battery lasts a long time, and it provides more detailed information than a regular scale. The best feature is the ability to create multiple profiles, making it easy to track weight changes for different users.

Works well, and syncs to Fitbit and Apple iPhone Health Apps
So far so good. Easy connection to my WiFi, and syncs quickly and easily to its own app (VeSync) as well as can easily set to automatically sync to Fitbit and Apple iPhone Health apps. Gives you a whole lotta measurements: Weight, BMI, body fat %, subcutaneous fat%, visceral fat%, metabolic age, HR, body water %, skeletal muscle%, muscle mass, bone mass, protein%, BMR, fat free body weight!Complaints: the HR (heart rate) is not so accurate… and it makes you stand there longer trying to measure it. That part is annoying. I would turn the HR measurement off, but I’ve not found a way to do that. They should just get rid of that. It’s not useful information anyway. It’s not like it’s a resting HR. The scale is lighter weight than my old finicky Aria (Fitbit)… and I love that it syncs the data to Fitbit and Apple Health. FWIW, the fat percentage measured by the Aria was higher than what was measured by this scale (Etekcity Heart Rate Smart Scale Model EFS-A591S)… both are consistent in their measurements over many days, but different numbers. Hard to know which is correct.

Great scale and mobile app!
Very accurate and easy to use with their app. The app could use some tweaks such as editing manual information and having it show in a weight loss goal along with other small changes. Thatâs on the app developer, not the scale. The scale is easy to setup and the screen is easy to ready.

Good scale but I thought it would be better
I bought this scale because it had the highest rating and recommendation from a consumer review site. For me, the wi-fi connection is clearly better than any other smart scale I’ve owned, and is very reliable. However, I thought I would get some of the additional measurements indicated in the product summary. It really only tracks weight, BMI, and body fat. The product description says it tracks 14 biometrics; I noticed it tracked it the first time I used it, but it hasn’t tracked since and there is no way to find this in the VE sync app so it’s kinda useless. I’m not even sure how reliable the body fat % is, as it simply seems to fluctuate up or down if my weight fluctuates a little from day to day. The app is glitchy, and doesn’t automatically sync with Apple Heath; I need to close out both apps and restart them for the sync to occur. In summary, better than other smart scales I’ve owned, essentially due to reliable wi-fi connections, but doesn’t deliver on the other advertised product features. I really wanted to be able to track the biometrics advertised in the product description but am not able to do so.
