Excellent kit
The recent fires in California got me thinking about an emergency kit for my fur baby. I found this kit and decided to check it out. Itâs very nice, in a very sturdy little case. Everything has its own little place and I think it contains everything I could need in a minor emergency. I especially like the thermal blanket, portable ice pack and the thermometer.

Covers the basics, nicely packed
I got this kit to keep in our RV so that we are prepared for any minor issues that may happen when we’re camping with our dogs. The case is well made with a double zipper, carry handle, and carabiner so it can be clipped to a pack when out hiking or even at the dog park. Inside the case has mesh pockets to keep everything organized, and pretty much all of the basic items are covered. The included field guide for pet first aid is a nice bonus for quick reference on how to use the kit and treat specific issues.I do feel that the price ($30.99 at the time of this review) is pretty steep for a first aid kit that I personally think has some gaps in it as far as pet items go. Styptic for stopping bleeding would be an excellent addition. Many of these items aren’t necessarily pet specific and could be found in any basic human first aid kit for a fraction of the price. But I suppose that the peace of mind knowing that this is designed for pets and includes pet safe items could be considered worth it.
