Auto-lock
With the auto-lock mode, you don’t have to worry about forgetting to lock your door. It automatically locks after 4 seconds, but you can also adjust the timer to anywhere from 2 seconds to 12 hours to suit your needs.

Key compatibility
This lock comes with 2 mechanical keys [KW1] that are compatible with common key specifications on the market. Installation Notes
When adjusting the backset position of the latch, make sure it is at either the 2-3/4″ or 3-3/8″ position. Installing it at other positions may damage the latch.When inserting the spindle of the external components into the keyway of the latch, ensure that the side with the “THIS SIDE UP” marking is facing upwards. Otherwise, the door may not lock properly.After installing the knob, make sure that the inside knob rotates smoothly without any resistance. If it feels stiff, it may cause unlocking issues.

Easy install, feels high quality and easy setup!!
Installed this on my metal entry door on my shop.I am impressed and very happy i went with this one!!Overall i would rate it like 4.8/5.Pros(Aside from the obvious benefits of a fingerprint lock):1: Easy install – the most difficult part was removing my old door lock.2: Integrated with handle/knob – I didn’t want to buy a smart deadbolt lock and also a separate handle.3: Excellent value – compared to hundreds of other smart locks available i am glad i went with this one.4: Easy setup – using the built-in voice commands, i don’t think it could be much easier to assign new codes and prints.5: Looks awesome – sleek and modern design.6: Great quality – feels nice in the hand with rubber grips7: Looks and feels durable – although it is brand new, it included seals so water should not damage the internal components. I love the black color.8: Fast to unlock – responds very fast (under half second) to fingerprint.Cons:(very minor cons)1: Sometimes does not unlock when my finger is at a weird angle or only slightly contacting, i fixed this by scanning my fingers about 3 times each, it seems to work well now.2: The small plate that opposes the strike plate is slightly small for the existing cutout – i plan to seal the small gap with some silicone or something but it is not really noticeable.3: The interior door handle should have some sticker or cover over the screw that holds the door handle cylinder on – i will probably 3d print something to stick over the screw, i thought it would be included, but is a minor issue and does not affect the performance at all.4: Probably would be best to have rechargeable batteries, but im sure this would be a more expensive option which probably exists, and rechargeable batteries fail sometimes too so i’m ok with the AAA’s, hopefully they last a long time.

Nice upgrade for my room.
My cousin had one for his door when some relative broke his old one and I thought to myself. “I’m getting myself one as well.” He told me it was pricey which it was, good thing I had a credit card and it’s one day shipping!Installation was confusing at first if you’re planning to reuse it on the same door, which I did and it was hard. I had some troubles when installing at first but, it was simple afterwards. Although QR code to go and set up your account was decent at first then all the sudden it stopped working for me. Like no matter how many times I tried relogging, it wouldn’t work. Even the forgot your password thing doesn’t work, tried to reset my password and stuff but no emails never came so (DO BE CAREFUL). There’s no app to used except the QR code given to you when installing. After that just follow the instructions on the installation paper and it’ll tell y’all how to set up finger prints or code if needed.

Voice navigation is a great feature in a great product
Considerably smaller than the IU20 it uses AAA instead of AA batteries. fingerprint programming is touchy but overall, I give this new IUKnob 5 stars. Curious to see how long the smaller batteries last.Installation was very easy taking no longer than about 15 minutes.I am happy the MFG decided to publish the WEB code generation feature for this allows you to give access by generating the opening code over the internet, I don’t know how this works, but it is great.The best feature, by far, is the voice navigation, all manufacturers of this type of device should offer it.Using the fingerprint scanner is also nice but somewhat flaky. I understand from the supplier that the fingerprint scan becomes more accurate as it is being used.Record both the S/N and Version number during the installation process, you will need these to setup the Remote Code Generation. If you don’t do this then you will have to remove inside knob to get this information.One word of caution: If this, or any electronic doorknob, is installed between a steel door and an insulating storm door the temperature may exceed the manufacturers temperature rating of 176 degrees F. This is especially true if, like me, you were to install a black knob.

Do not buy this door knob!
Within less than a year, this lock has malfunctioned twice. The seller is not honoring the one year manufacturer review. The lock does not hold up to really hard rain. Twice when it has rained hard the knob like shorts out. It goes through four batteries every two days. The fingerprint option no longer works. The first knob that stopped working the seller was great and replaced it. The second time they said, it was impossible to have the same problem. Ironic saying something is impossible when it already happened. I offered to send them their Lock so they can verify that itâs not working. They wonât respond. After the first experience, I got smart and bought a three year warranty. So I guess Iâll let some other company cover their lousy door knob. But buyer beware do not buy this Unless you enjoy spending $100 on AAA batteries

Does not require your SS number or First Born to work
I have only had this for a few weeks but so far so good, but there are alot of things to like about this compared to similar products. The first thing to like is that this unit does not require you to download an app to your phone and connect to your wifi network or anything crazy like that in order to use the fingerprint function like other door locks on the market these days. Also, the buttons are actual rubber buttons instead of a touch screen and so it is quicker to use and less prone to hitting the wrong numbers. Finally, the unit seems solidly build and suited for outdoor use as it comes with optional rubber ring seals and also has a rubber non-slip ring around the knob so you can get a good grip on it. I am giving this 5 stars which is rare for me.
