Item Defected. They sent me a replacement and it did the same thing so had to waste time returning 2 now.Hinge bolt will strip out with barely any weight or pressure. Making it very dangerous with weight on. Wouldnât take this item if it was free let alone pay that much for it. I repeat do not buy this item! It is defective!

I used with Bowflex 552 dumbbells and everything worked and the bar was solid. Unfortunately after about three uses, one of the screw you use to secure the dumbbell in place no longer works. Like if I open the clamp and screw it in, itâll screw in. But if I close the clamp and try to secure it close. It just keeps spinning, like itâs not long enough to reach the threads anymore. Donât know what happened. I usually baby my things and it worked at first. I didnât throw it, drop it and it didnât fall so Iâm lost. I threw the box away. Now I canât return it

I have been assembling a home gym over the past year and I have quite a few awesome pieces.But, Iâm also always looking to add things, so when I came across this item, I was so excited.I recently got one that is similar, but only a curl bar, so I wanted a straight barbell such as this.So, I went ahead and placed an order for it, but I was surprised when it arrived because it was in a smaller square box, whereas my other one arrived in a long narrow package.But when I opened it, itâs simply in pieces that you attached to each other and itâs very simple to set up and it does not compromise the integrity of the bar whatsoever.I have bowflex 552 adjustable weights and it fits them absolutely perfect.I would guess it fits most standard size dumbbells.They connect very easy and theyâre really strong and secure.I was able to lift quite a lot of weight with ease.So if youâre someone with limited space or only have dumbbells, then this is the item for you.Look no further as far as what you can use for your home. This is absolutely awesome.I give it a very enthusiastic five stars and Iâm so excited to have this.I also feel that itâs a great deal for the price since youâre replacing the need to get multiple plates.I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.
