Did the trick, just kinda cheap
The shelf was very easy to put together and did exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that is a little bit of a cheap material. Almost foam like. I needed to place a laptop on it that is connected to a regular screen and keyboard. The screen is broken, so we use it like a tower. But, I need the computer out of the way so the kids would quit bumping it. This has all the holes for breathing so the fans can work properly. There is space in the back to run all the cords. What I did discover is it was not wide enough for my lap top with all the of the USB cords coming out of it. But, I jus tilted it a little and it worked. The laptop is like a 15.6 screen size. Super easy to put together and install. Would purchase again.

Not real wood
Bought this for my xbox and didn’t hold it well. Even had it in studs and it was already tearing to shelf.

Nice design with air pockets but very flimsy
I really liked this design which allowed for air to circulate around the console. My biggest issue was how flimsy the shelf is. It did not stay up with just the shelf support brackets that came with the shelf. I did need to purchase some additional support from Home Depot to help support the shelf and the console.

Did not come with needed tools.
Ordered this product because it was one of the only options that you could use with either nails or screws. However, when the package arrived and planned to put it together the kit did not come with the nail option for the mount as advised. I spent about 20 minutes scrounging my house for nails, but ultimately had to make a trip to the hardware store.The self itself seems a bit flimsy and I feel that an additional two brackets at the bottom could help with that.
