Big Enough to Stretch Out On
I’m far from a Yogi. I need to get better at stretching, and so I got this hoping it would help. My own motivation is beside the point, so let’s talk about the product. Firstly, it’s huge. I wouldn’t say it’s outside the scope of a typical yoga mat, but I’m more accustomed to seeing the roll up ones that have a fairly small footprint whereas my first thought upon unfolding this was ” wow this is big”. While it didn’t impact my use of the product, I would just consider the amount of room you have, and ease of carry.The thickness is nice. Its about a quarter inch or so, which protected my bony knees from my hardwood floor. Any thicker and I could see it impacting the stability of yoga poses. I mentioned the roll-up yoga mats, and this one is a bit different. It folds up more origami style, but a cloth bag is included to carry it with. I’ve only just begun to use it, so its durability hasn’t come into question, but I predict it will hold up if I treat it well. The grip is also fine, and I wouldn’t anticipate any slipping. I ordered the two tone green/black color which I really like from a visual perspective, and I’d also consider it to be two sided in use.While the advertised use is Yoga, it’s size and thickness help it stand out with potential for more. It’s an all-around solid mat, and big enough for most folks so whether you’re stretching, working out, or even changing a tire, you’re well-grounded with this mat.

Pretty firm, but a very nice and extra large mat
I love the larger size, keeps more of you off the floor during diverse exercises! The material is a little firmer than a standard yoga mat, and a shade less comfortable, but it’s not noticeable for most exercises. The mat has good grippiness for your feet, with or without socks or shoes. I also like the color of the mat, there was no toxic odor when i opened it, and it comes with a great canvas bag with an inner pocket to tote it to the gym and back. It’s a little bit of effort to get the folded mat into the bag, but honestly not worse than rolling up and securing a traditional yoga mat. And this one is easier to carry in its bag. I’m really happy with it!

Great product! Just not for Yoga or workouts where a flat mat it needed.
This mat is not for any kind of serious working out. We’ve started using this as our picnic mat which my wife takes with her to the park in case she wants to sit in the grass. Immediately after unfolding this mat out and getting ready for her pilates class, the creases and bumps in between them from the way this folds down gets in the way. Not at all a replacement for a typical roll out mat that lays completely flat.Not to say this this mat is not of a high quality or not ‘nice’, the tote bag and the entire package is very well made…this just isn’t the right style of mat for working out on where you need a good flat surface.

Great Workout Mat!
A lot of my exercises are done on the floor of my garage and the concrete was killing my knees. I tried using a moving quilt doubled up but there was still not enough cushion for my knees and it slid around making it difficult to exercise. I decided to order this mat because it is wider and longer than the other ones I looked at. It folds and stores out of the way in the bag provided when not in use and it has a textured bottom so it doesn’t move around while in use. It’s also great for providing the cushion I need for my knees. Nice product!
