Good quality
I got a trolly because my back yard was only fenced on 3 sides. So a trolly was the answer to letting my dog roam but with confines of the yard until a fence could be erected, which is a bit costly. So while I save for the fence, the trolley was the answer to keep my dog safe. Itâs worked well mechanically with good quality materials. Easy instructions.

It has worked great so far for our puppy
For the price (~$20-25 USD) you cannot beat this. It has worked great so far for our puppy, who’s up to 20 lbs now. Still small, but I see this holding up when she’s fully grown (we’re teaching her to not pull on leads, just like you should). You can’t even find the line alone for this price at a big box hardware store, so it’s pretty much a no-brainer. The hardware that comes with it works just fine, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the plastic stoppers – they don’t really stop the pulley and had a tendency to jam in the wheel.Instead, I picked up couple cheap hammock U-bolts to tighten on either end of the line. These hold fast in the plastic sheathing around the line and stop the pulley way better than the original hardware.Otherwise, the hardware works just fine. The spring is nice to soften the forces on the trees we tied into. The only thing that you could argue is missing is a tensioner, but the included U-bolt holds extremely well so far and after pulling the line tightly during installation two months ago, I haven’t had to adjust it yet.With the stopper issue and the lack of tensioner, I would put any pricier line at 4-stars. But I can’t in good faith put this lower than 5-stars due to the price. The hardware concerns are super minor and with the super low price point that this is at you can go to your local hardware store or Walmart and upgrade a couple components without breaking the bank.

Great value for the money
Great for the money, but you really need 2 adults to put this up. One adult to tighten down the bolts on the cable, and the other adult to somehow grip the cable and pull it tight. The cable will inevitability sag a bit in the middle, so put the ends a minimum of 8′ up.

Machine works well.
It is a nice machine to work with. Directions say to oil before each use. I do this, and it works like a champ!The thread guides are a great feature; they are color coded which makes threading easier.

It was mostly easy to install
I use this for my 55 pound pit bull and it’s very secure. I bought additional cable clips for $3 at home depot to limit the area where he can go on the line and it works perfectly for us. It was mostly easy to install, the only hard part was getting the cable through the hard plastic stoppers, they were too small and we used a drill to widen the opening you slip the cable through. He was a little spooked by the noise the trolley makes for about two days, but he’s scared of anything new and got used to it quickly. we have no fence and he’s supervised at all times when he’s on it. before we had this my arm was sore from having him on a leash every time he went potty, now he can wander around a bit and do dog things.

You solved my doggy problem
I have a neighbor that didn’t like my dog going into his yard and bothering his dogs. I just didn’t know what to do. I got on line and found this dog device. It at first didnt work. She got out of the hook it had on it. I added another hook and now she is doubled hooked. She cant get out of it. Now she can go out front and enjoy the nice weather on a beautiful day.

Works great.My only gripe is that no matter how tight you turn the nuts, the wire slips or stretches over time. I just tightened it and the function is normal again. I don’t think the trolley will last long as its plastic, but that can be replaced.I would like to find a longer trolley lead as this one i short, since the manual requires the line be quite high.
