Excellent product
I recently rescued 4 baby cotton tales. All I had handy was kitty formula. I was worried because most were loosing weight and not super excited about the milk. I fed them this new formula and they loved it! They wanted to keep drinking it, but I stopped because I don’t want to over feed them. I hope the will gain weight with this product. Use it with the 1 ml syringe and the yellow round nipple to prevent aspiration.Update: The rabbits loved this milk, and in a few days they gained a significant amount of weight. I mixed the formula with probiotics and all 4 bunnies survived.

Works for orphaned domestic rabbits
I used this mixed with KMR to feed 6 orphaned domestic bunnies. I had started them on KMR before I found this formula and the KMR has probiotics. I mix it 50/50 and the baby rabbits are doing well. All six are 26 days old and doing well. Like the others said, you will need a warm wet cloth to wipe faces after a feed because once itâs dry it is like cement and super hard to wash off. Luckily I have other rabbits so the babies all got some of the needed night droppings to feed on to help their hind gut develop. This is the second bag I am buying of this formula. Babies didnât like the vanilla smell at first but now scarf it down.

It works for baby rabbits
This is the only product I have used that has allowed me to keep baby rabbits alive until they can be weaned.I have tried KMR, goats milk and another leading brand. While I admit it may have been mistakes I made while I learned the many nuances of feeding baby cottontails this product will work if administered properly.The babies really seem to love it once they get used to the unnatural way of eating via syringe. I highly recommend using with a nipple and syringe kit to help prevent aspirating….also available from Amazon.

For baby opossums
(Pictures posted are about a 3 week difference between when we found him (mid April) to now (early-mid May.) Found a baby opossum on the sidewalk completely lost and disoriented without his mother and siblings. Was way too young and small to be on his own, still hadn’t grown teeth, and wouldn’t accept simple things such as water and wet cat food. This formula was a lifesaver. Took him about a day to warm up to it (we started him on newborn kitten formula while we waited for this to arrive in the mail). Started to gobble it up and was gaining more energy, weight, and started growing his little teeth. Eventually transitioned him to fruits, various proteins and an opossum specific kibble formula. Couldn’t have done it without this product. Do note, the seller is unable to accept returns on this product. We only used about 1/4th of the bag until the little guy started craving soft solids such as fruits.
