Sweet Relief
Once again, Frida Mom to the rescue. I’m a FTM with a baby that seems to have industrial strength suction – my nipps were getting wrecked. The hospital had provided me with one set of hydrogel pads of a different brand, and I had ordered Medela ones before I even delivered but I must say, the Frida Mom hydrogels are by far my favorite. They really stay cool for much longer than the other two brands I tried. They are also very soft and have Vitamin E and the shape fits better to my anatomy. If you are careful when removing them, they are definitely reusable between BF sessions – I was able to make mine last about a day before moving onto the next set. Feels like a must have item for any postpartum/BF parent.

Good for intense relief
These are great to use on occasion when you are in need of intense relief. They last for as long as it says it pretty much not noticeable under normal bra. However, I grow weary when the ingredients are not listed and the package advises you to wash your breast prior to feeding. It makes me concerned for potential ingredients, passing over to baby.

Soothed pain from nursing
Not perfect, but helps for sure! I’m a breastfeeding / pumping mom and I began to get soreness and pain after feeding and pumping and have been hunting for a solution. I tried another purple brand that states the cooling and relief should last 72 hours and it doesn’t, I threw it away and found these pads instead. Although the package says “cooling relief up to 4 hours” I wore it longer because still felt relieving.
I like that the box comes with 8 pairs and each pair is wrapped together so it’s ready to use whenever you need a new pair. Packaging was very easy to open and the pads themselves come with clear film that’s easy to remove and keeps the sticky side fresh for before applying. I love the shape of the pad it’s like a teardrop so fits perfectly and coverage is great.
I felt instant cooling the moment I put it on. Does it last forever? No. But it is nice relief for a little. It also protects from rubbing onto bra or absorption pads which feels nice too.
Package also states it has vitamin E within the sticky part and that it’s safe for breastfeeding I tend to wipe with a baby wipe before feeding after removing the pad. I do not get pain when removing. Also states no parabens, phthalates, or fragrance which is lovely.
Also, price is great. I’ll be buying again.

Awful.
These are so flimsy and the gel side is so gooey. I could barely get these to stick to my skin because of the texture. They also only stay cool for a few minutes in the beginning. I would pass.

These are a must for the early painful days of breast feeding.

Purchased these for my second baby and I loved them! Felt so good and definitely soothes. Will be repurchasing, highly recommend!

These pads are a must have especially if breast feeding for the first time. They healed and soothed my cracked sore nipples.
