My best friend’s cat’s throne
I bought this for my kitty a while ago and she’s so fussy that (for reasons wholly unrelated to the very well-made product) she used it once and went back to sleeping on the basket full of clean laundry instead. I finally gave it to my best friend for his non-spoiled cat, and The Most Interesting Cat in the World has barely left it since.The construction and the solid weave on the hammock part are great. And it was really easy to assemble. There’s no accounting for my cat’s lack of taste. Mitten says it’s comfortable and he loves it.In short, if your own cat isn’t into it, a cat you know will be 100% down with it. It does hold a lot of weight (Mitten is a husky lad), so if you have a chonker, they will be able to sleep safely.

Weâve had this for some time now and our cats love it! Itâs easy to assemble and disassemble to wash the bedding. Weâve washed it a few times now with no issue. Looks nice with the rest of our furniture too!

Easy assembly, strong, lightweight. Plenty of room for my cat to fully stretch out, and if you have cats that cuddle, it could definitely sleep 2. Or even a small dog probably! Price wasnât bad at all, and itâs so easy to assemble, you really could easily disassemble to wash the cloth hammock part if you needed to.

Very easy to assemble!
This was very well packed, all pieces were present, and it was super easy to assemble. It appears to be very sturdy and is attractive enough to be out in plain sight in the living room. The 2 wooden poles that hold the suspended hammock are very thick and seem to be very solid. The frame is also solid and 4 screws go through the upper ends of both frames into the ends of the support poles. All holes lined up perfectly and the screws were plenty long, screwing in with an included Allen wrench. One of our 3 cats (a 20 pounder) was already crawling into the hammock while I was doing the final tightening and had a nice little snooze first. When I could finally get it onto the floor, a 2nd cat came right over to try it out. Our 3rd cat is very cautious and she approached it warrily, but I’ve seen her in it twice too. The hammock is a thick fabric, like tweed almost, and felt a bit scratchy to me, but the cats don’t seem to mind and it’ll probably soften up with use. Very pleased with this product and it literally took all of 5 minutes to assemble.

The cats love it
This hammock-style bed was an immediate hit with my cats. I heat my house with a wood-burning stove and, of course, the cats love gathering around it to soak up the heat. Previously, when the dining room chairs and the beds on the table were all occupied, the cats that missed out would have to lay on the floor to be near the stove. So I bought one of these and set it next to the stove (on the right in the photo) and the competition for it was so great, even when a chair or bed was available, that I got a second one. Now that warmer weather is here and I’m no longer using the stove, I’ve relocated one of them and they both still get a lot of use.The quality of the materials is excellent. The hardware (threaded inserts in the dowels and the screws) are first rate and assembly was very easy. It’s also very easy to take the fabric off for cleaning – just remove the 2 screws from one end and slide the fabric off the dowels. This makes a fine alternative to the usual basket-style cat bed.

Best money ever spent on my cat
This bed has been an incredible buy. My cat is obsessed with it. Heâs a larger cat (12.5lbs). First photo is the first time he laid in it, second one is just a few weeks ago. He has spent probably close to a thousand hours in this bed over the past almost 2 years. He lays in it every evening. Itâs held up nicely (just needed to be re-tightened once, which is easy and expected). Still completely sturdy. Best and favorite bed I have bought him to date. I put a blanket on it so cleaning would be easier, but itâs definitely not necessary, as the pillow has held up nicely. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat!

Just bought this and my large (10 pounds and long) senior cat climber right in and hasnât left all day.The quality is much better than I expected – solid wood frame, Natural finish, fabric is thick and high quality, and super easy to assemble. Might have to buy another for the bedroom – really happy with this purchase

It was super easy to put together – 4 screws! Its a shame you would have to dismantle one side to slide the cover off to wash it. Possibly heavy velcro sides may have been better. The cover is a very good thickness and a pleasant beige colour, our 3 cats love them. I’ve added a small cover to the bed, so it can be washed without dismantling it. Good height for even my eldest of 18 to get into. My cats are on the large size and they do fit in perfectly. I’m not sure about making them into bunk beds as there are no cutouts on the legs to slot one on the other, they would just be resting on frame and I think a cat jumping into the top bed would quite easily move it. Something I’m not willing to try. But thumbs, or paws up from the cats ð ðââ¬ï¸
