Wow it was so easy to remove
I had tartar stain on my lower teeth built up for years and it bothered me, I floss twice a day since forever and nothing would remove the tarter. Soon as I received theses I scrapped the tarter off my lower teeth easily, barely placed any force either. Crazy how easily it was to remove, should’ve bought these years ago. Ran to make a review, super satisfied and save hundreds doing this.

I didn’t really need these.
Tools arrived in their own zippered carrying case. They are a bit crude, compared to professional dental tools.Now that I’ve received them, I don’t think I’m able to work backward in two mirrors, without an operating room light, an aspirating wand, a dental assistant and new enamel. 🤣I’ll give them to my wife for work on her miniature collection. 👍

The #4 Tartar Scraper’s edge should be sharp, not dull.
It’s a nice set, but the tool I wanted most was the squared (not the angled) end of the #4 Tartar Scraper, to remove some residual plaque left by my dentist at my recent routine cleaning. But the edge of the squared end of the tool was very slightly rounded, which made it too dull for scraping. However, the other end (i.e. the angled end) of the #4, as well as the #2 Sickle Scaler, had sharp-enough edges to remove the plaque effectively.

This is surely one of the best 10$ i invested into something. This set is nicely completed with everything basic that you could need to do a nice clean up between 2 visites at the dentiste.I had some stubborn tartar behind my lower front teeth and was able to get it all off in like 10-15min mainly using the scrapper and it paid itself already. The scrapper isn’t very sharp but i think it is a good thing as it is a scrapper and not a scalpel. The trick is to do short movements and just scrape the tartar and not trying to slide the scrapper right under it on first time. Eventually it will get the tartar to get off the tooth.You also get everything you need to work around and between the teeth. It surely won’t replace an appointment to the dentist but like i said it’s always handy to have around to clean up tartar building up as soon as you notice. My teeth now feels super clean…really happy with this set!

Very happy with this purchase. Arrived the next day and was well packaged. The quality of instruments are very good and the price cannot be beat. All the instruments had a protective plastic cover to protect the sharp tips. They are easy to use once you get the hang of working with a mirror. I used my big magnifying mirror to get a closer look. I had about 6 months of tartar build up and I drink a lot of black tea. It took me about an hour to remove 80% of the stains. It’s not the instruments fault, my hands and fingers got tired and I’m not a dental hygienist. I’ll do the rest later today or tomorrow. Just a note, please disinfect the instruments before using. I cleaned them with soap dish and water, but because I have OCD I also put them in boiling water before and after use. I do recommend this kit to anyone who likes to clean their teeth in between dental appointments.
