Well worth it
Been using the yoga mat for over a week now and I do like it a lot. I practice on a tile floor and even though the mat is thin, it provides plenty of padding from the floor.The mat is rather slick at the start but i can already tell it is starting to get more sticky. I feel there is just a small layer that needs worn off and then it is better.I feel the mat is going to last a long time and well worth the money.

Itâs a great basic yoga mat
Iâve had this type of Matt before and I loved it. Because itâs textured you still have good enough cushioning to do your routine, but you donât slip and slide and have to worry about fallingBecause the texture keeps you from slipping. Some person complained about a footprint being left on it but think about it. This is a yoga mat and theyâre made for barefoot people. Basically, if you want one that you can walk on with shoe you should buy that type. The price on this is great. serves the purpose is comfortable And is very affordable to me A+. Itâs got a carrying strap just like my futon.

Gaiam Mats are the best!
Iâm a Yoga teacher & have tried sooo many Yoga mats at various price points. Out of all my mats, Gaiam is by far my favorite! The colors are vibrant and some have fun designs. I think the thickness of this mat is ideal and I never slip on these mats.The downfall of this particular purchase is that the included strap was wrapped so tightly around the mat that it left deep lines in the mat. I doubt they are going to come out. I didnât really care about the strap & didnât plan to use it but itâs a bummer it left such deep lines on the mat. The mat will function fine but it doesnât look as nice.

This mat feels good, looks good, has a great price and has actually boosted my yoga and workout routines. I recommend this for the quality and price, it comes with a shoulder strap as well, but i never use it.

Generally happy with the mat. I use the mat to do calming yoga stretches as well as intense Chloe Ting workouts. Even though it is only a quarter inch it make a huge difference from just doing yoga or working out on the hardwood floor. The mat provides extra cushion for my knees and back. My spine doesn’t feel like it’s getting crushed vertebrae by vertebrae when I’m doing sit-ups anymore. I also like the simple carrying straps for when lock-down is over and I can take it to my local yoga studio. I have used it a dozen times and I have not seen any tears or permanent imprints on the mat.The mat first smells a bit of plastic when I first took out of its vacuum seal packaging, but after letting it air out for a day the smell has mostly dissipated. I’ve bought another yoga mat from Amazon before and it absolutely reeked of toxic fumes (I felt like I was puffing paint thinners) so I see this as a great improvement and only smells mildly toxic.I also really liked the forest green colour and was pleasantly surprised when the product delivered was the same as the photo. It looks a little more blue in my photos due to the lighting but it matches the photo on the product page pretty well.TLDR; Smells a little bit upon opening but otherwise a great mat for a wide range of workouts.
