Works as promised, packaging could use improvement
I had an issue with my drain backing up and having standing water in my kitchen sink for over a week before it could be repaired. Long story short, my older condo has cast iron pipes or all the drains that needed replacing in the entire building, and many of those pipes were rusting internally, causing blockages. After it was fixed, there was a bad odor and corrosion inside of the disposal. I was searching online and locally for something that would get rid of the smell at least, and this did the trick!It’s very simple to use and only takes a couple minutes. Just run the hot water into the drain for a minute, then slow the faucet so that the hot water stream is about the width of a pencil and move it toward the corner of the sink to let it indirectly flow into the drain. On first use, I used two tablets as recommended and turned on the disposal immediately after placing them inside the drain into the disposal. Within seconds, foam built up and began expanding out into the sink a little, and then quickly sank back into the disposal. I ran the disposal as instructed until the foam was gone, and after turning it off the odor that was present was completely gone. All that was left was a light citrus scent and now the kitchen smells so much better!It’s recommended you do this periodically so that the disposal stays fresh, and hopefully I remember to do it regularly.My only gripe is that while the packaging is very compact and not wasteful, getting the box to stay closed is a bit tricky once the tablets start shifting around. The tabs that secure it closed aren’t very large, so if the box is anything less than perfectly flat, it’ll pop back open. I may just cut out the instructions from the box and place it along with the tabs in a plastic container.

Easiest way to keep your disposal clean.
I started using this product after having a new disposal installed. The tablets are very easy to use, economical, and do not have a chemical-y odor. They clean thoroughly and leave the disposal gunk-free and odorless. I use two tablets every couple of weeks and the disposal stays fresh. We cook twice a day, so the sink and disposal are in almost constant use. I recommend this product 100%.

This was recommended by a co-worker and I’m so happy I purchased this product! We are a household of 6, with 2 under 2, so lots of scraps of food end up in the sink as hard as I try to not let them make it into the sink. The scent is fresh and makes you think, ” I KNOW that disposal is clean!” At first it sounds like a “clink-clunk” then the smooth foam comes up and its so satisfying…convenient check boxes on the inside so you don’t have to make a “mental note.”

Part of the instructions for these is to run your Garburator with a trickle of water running for about a minute. When I do that, my garburator starts to overheat and stinky smoke starts to come out of it. Your garbage disposal might be much better than mine, which is at least 16 years old. In the time my disposal was running with these tablets, not once did I see any foaming action. I am loath to rate this product high or low – I think my garburator is not a good candidate for this product to review properly
