Nice Job at Managing Power for Multiple AC and USB Ports
The Power Strip from Ghome is a well thought out and designed product that lets you control up to 6 electrical Outlets and 3 USB Ports, which consist of 2 USB type A and 1 USB type C ports. The Power Strip is compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi ONLY, offers surge protection, and you can turn your devices on or off by voice or through one of the many applications that you can run from your phone or PC, such as Alexa, Gosund, and Smart Things. I also like that you can mount the device to a wall (see picture) or to the side of a desk, depending on what you have plugged into the power strip.Having the capability to turn on a set of devices made it very easy to control my home theater, so the right equipment turns on depending on the activity I am preparing to watch. For example, if I am watching my FIOS Cable TV, then I power on my FIOS Cable Box, Onkyo AVR, Panasonic TV, and it turns off my Roku and Blu-ray DVD players. By allowing you to only power on the equipment that you need to be able to watch the devices you need to use, the power strip is also saving you money and the life of your other equipment that can remain powered off.I have two minor suggestions for a future version of this power strip, but not having them does not subtract from the overall high rating that I have given to this productâs current design.The first suggestion would be to provide the capability to allow the user to be able to turn off a device, without turning off the associated power strip outlet for the device. This functionality would be very useful. For example, it would be nice to setup the time on my TV once, which will be preserved when the TV is no longer required to be on. Currently, when I tell Alexa to turn off my Panasonic TV, the outlet is turned off and the time settings in the TV are lost. I donât know how hard it would be to implement this type of capability, but if you could do it easily, I would highly recommend you do it.The only other suggestion would be to offer the Power Strip in a metal enclosure.

Great smart plug
I bought this and then didn’t open it for a couple of months so I’m really glad it works so well. It’s the only smart power strip with all plugs controlled individually and the ability to control the USB ports. However, the USB ports are controlled as one and that’s the only let down. Would love to be able to control the USB ports separately and would really love to see an even larger smart strip to accommodate more plugs. I use these for reptile and plant setups and a couple more plugs would make it perfect. Still worthy of the 5 stars though.

This power strip is an awesome solution to customize controlling power to individual devices! It performs very well and is half the price of others in the same market!The power strip connected very quickly to the wi-fi and was up in running in minutes! The cord is quite long, longer than other power strips I have, which is a nice addition. The overall shape and length is not bad. It is generally larger than some of my others like this,but it is acceptable. The length is good and the space between outlets is decent.The app control is simple and easy to use. There are some app updates I’d recommend as it is not as good as some other companies. I’d like to see power consumption of each outlet, and overall…

I could hear loose broken off plastic out of the box. I installed the app and could not register it as I never received a registration code despite numerous attempts, returned.

This power strip is a necessity for my girlfriend who tends to leave her hair straightener and other items plugged in and sometimes on. If she happens to forget if it’s on she can just go on the app and shut it off. So for poeace of mind it is good and the cord that runs to the wall is heavy duty as opposed to the last one she had

Got this for an office nano reef tank, need to be able to turn pumps and stuff off when feeding. Works good. Picked it up on sale. I had to install another different app, but I wanted that because I have every other device in one app, and wanted this one separate. Another reason I got this one, the USB ports can be turned on and off and timer set. I have a couple pumps that use USB, so frees up a spot instead of a power brick. Only con for this one, no individual button on the strip for powering the individual plugs. You can do this in the app, but some times if you just like to hit the button, you have to grab your phone.
