Loud but Worth
Absolutely love this air purifier. Paired with the new govee humidifier my air no longer feels stuffy and stagnant. I am allergic to my pets so having the purifier has made it so my room is not causing me to sneeze, have a runny nose or any sinus issues for once! I wish I would’ve gotten one sooner!! I also don’t notice the dog smell much at all in my room anymore!!!! The quietness isn’t as quiet as I thought when reading some of the info and reviews but when I tell ya for me, it doesn’t matter and becomes white noise quickly, I’m not kidding! You can even start on sleep settings through the app and up the level to low then to high to get used to the sound of needed!
Functionality wise, it’s great.
Very easy to set up physically and on the app, and the physical touch button doesn’t need to be used, but if you do use it it is very responsive and is very easy to understand. The app just makes it easier to go into sleep, and not have to go to the physical machine.
The filter quality seems great, I’ve kept it on low/high for a couple days and truly my room feels and smells like a newer room.
Design is actually pretty good. It’s smaller than some purifiers, I wish it was a little smaller but it works so well that I don’t care! It looks nice to me, and I have even put the small pokemon plushies next to them for scale if you need that!

Quiet and effective
I love this little air purifier! I put it near the bed so the clean air floats over me at night. It was really useful during the LA fires when the air quality was awful. Itâs super quiet, and I didnât even need to use the night setting. Itâs also very light and portable to move to different areas around the house.

Good idea for small spaces
I have a cat and dog and I’ve had this since March 2024. App is simple and easy to set up, I definitely love that I can set up times when it turns on and off and it has low and high speeds but they aren’t too loud for me. My first time changing the filter it was so covered in dust, dander, and my dogs hair( it was sitting on a chair at the time) but I felt like I had less dust and I can breathe better in my room, the second time changing the filter it had less dust and hair so it’s definitely helping i do have it sittingup higher on a side table. I am allergic to dog dander and this has helped with my dogs dander. The aroma pads are a great addition to use, they aren’t to cover any smells just to help spread a nice scent around the room.

Cleaner Air in a Small Space
Currently working remotely and spending a good chunk of most days primarily in one room, and having all kinds of allergies that love to make me miserable, an air purifier has been a must for my work space. Itâs a small spare bedroom, so I donât need a huge device, but I want to get some of the dust and pollutants out of my air during the day.
Enter this handy Govee device. Iâd been using a HolmesAir purifier and it certainly was capturing dirt as evidenced by the filter. As those became harder to find, I decided to give this small, WiFi enabled purifier a try based on previous reviews. Iâd also been using some Govee smart lights, so I had the app already installed.
Do I need it to be a smart device? No, but it can come in somewhat handy. Iâm able to set routines and have it run automatically at a higher speed overnights to clean the air better for morning, and could turn the speed up or down from my phone or Alexa if desired. Its a plus, not a true necessity, but for a comparable price to many other room air purifiers, itâs a bonus to have that capability if and when I want to use it.
Whatâs most important, naturally, is the job it does. As evidenced in my pictures, itâs picking up plenty of dirt; one picture is a brand-new filter, all white and ready to go. The âafterâ picture came the morning the device let me know the filter was used upâand that, it was. Lots of gray dust taken out of my little workspace over about 4 months.
To me, thatâs a reasonable time before needing to change a filter. Speaking of changing, itâs as easy as can be: just twist the top portion of the unit and separate the top and bottom pieces. Then pop in a clean filter, put the housing back together with a twist and youâre good to go. Reset the filter life by holding the power button for >3 seconds and itâs time to start cleaning the air once more.
Seeing that amount of dirt in the grooves of the filter reminds me just how important it is, for allergy sufferers such as myself, to take simple steps to try to keep the air at home clean. Nothing solution is 100% perfect, but this is darned good for the price point and the amount of air it can pump through the filter to clean up:
All in all, a fine addition to my home office and helping as best any device can to remove some triggers for allergy attacks.

El producto es de muy buena calidad, la aplicación es muy buena y se puede programar para encender, apagar, la duración y la velocidad del ventilador. El filtro es de buena calidad, en un par de meses contenÃa una considerable capa de pelusa de polvo. Recomiendo que lo saques y lo sopletes con algún compresor o lo aspires con una pequeña aspiradora. Nosotros dormimos hasta en el nivel más alto, el nivel para dormir es muy sigiloso apenas se percibe.
