Classy in looks and very sturdy
Overall, I like it very much. It is sturdy and attractive. My one issue is that the buttons on my Fire Tablet barely come to the top of the slots for them cut in the case. I think the material there is a bit too thick. I am able to push the buttons, however, and maybe the extra depth of the case covering over them will actually protect the buttons from being pushed too hard and prolong their life. I am quite proud of the looks of this case and would recommend it.

Stylish, functional cover that provides protection
I received a Kindle Fire HD 12th generation as a gift and wanted to get a cover for it. My previous Kindle was 8th generation so that style wouldn’t work but I did want to have similar features. The hand strap was the most important one for me. It makes reading and writing on my Kindle easier. This Grifobes cover is plain with just two colors black and brown but I think it looks stylish. One feature that my previous cover didn’t have that I am appreciating is the pocket on the front of the cover to hold notes etc. It has a magnetic closure with the auto sleep/wake for the Kindle which was another feature I had to have on this cover. There have been reviews with complaints that either the magnets were missing or didn’t work as stated. But I haven’t had any issues with this feature. I don’t utilize the strips on the inside of the cover much but if I want to read in bed before going to sleep, it is handy to get the screen at the proper angle. The elastic loop holder on the side is nice to have for the stylus but based on my previous cover, it gets stretched out from over use. I haven’t had the need to try out the headphones yet. This cover seems to be holding up better than my other one, a Vori Folio. It was very pretty but started cracking on the spine with in a couple of months. Will have to wait and see if this Grifobes continues to be more durable.

Gorgeous, high quality case with functionality
I wanted a case that looked good on my white Kindle Fire HD 8. The teal color with white blossoms compliments my device beautifully. What’s more, the grain of the cover has an intricate pattern that feels and looks luxe. I also appreciate the three strips inside the front cover of the case to rest your device in various positions for a hands-free propped mode. There is a hand strap as well. Crucially, the case delivers the sleep/wake feature in that the Kindle Fire HD 8 turns on and off when you open and close the cover. Finally, there is a black elastic if you choose to wrap it around the case for additional security- ideal if you’re transporting it in a handbag or backpack. This is the third case I’ve bought for this device, as I am very picky about the cases and covers for my devices and phone. This case has the whole package as far as beauty, functionality, and quality, and I will be keeping this one on my device for the long haul.
