This is perfect for my small at home gym
I hesitated for a long time before purchasing this. Worried that a small treadmill would feel unstable and just be a bad purchase. I am so glad I finally decided to give it a try! The machine is just what I was looking for. There was absolutely no assembly and the machine is perfectly sized for my small basement gym. It’s feels solid and have been using daily since I purchased it. Now when the weather outside is bad, I can still get my steps in.

I liked the built-in wheels and the stronger-than-expected frame and handle. The 5mph max speed is in the mid-range for most full-size treadmills. The electronics are bright and clear, missing is pace and heartbeat rate. The emergency cord when removed is a very abrupt emergency stop, especially at 5mph. The metal frame has strong feet at 6 points with rubber pads which allows me to put a ramp under to elevate the running belt when needed. The 450-watt motor works well and like most treadmills is noisy at higher speeds. Overall this is a great sturdy and compact treadmill that is easy to move and performs well for its size and cost. I am very happy with my purchase.UPDATE 6/4/20I have found that running on the narrower width belt was challenging at first. I have become used to it but it does take a little time.

Good compact threadmill
I know this is not a high end treadmill but it serves its purpose for us. We need something compact, sleek and help us to always stay active during rainy or cold days. So far so good, downside is the belt sometimes need to be adjusted so it won’t get too noisy, a lil bit narrow but we used to it so far. Good purchase for beginner runner like us.

You get what you pay for – Broken after 2 years of average use. No response from seller.
I really like this treadmill for the first few months I had it. I used it a few times per week, then hardly at all during the summer months. I recently started using it daily for about an hour each time. Several months ago, a clicking noise started in or around the motor. I contacted the seller asking for repair options they might recommend but received no response. Now, one of the brackets holding the steel plate for the running track has failed, likely due to a cheap weld. I asked for service options via the questions section but again received no reply. It’s a cheap treadmill, but it should’ve lasted longer. The belt is also a major problem with this unit. It never runs straight, no matter how many times you try to adjust it. It then rubs against the sides and deteriorates. It also stutters when it moves causing you to lose your balance, which is extremely unsafe.So it’s two stars from me. 1 star lost for no response from the manufacturer, 1 star lost for the faulty belt, and 1 big star lost for the support bracket failure that resulted in the unit being completely unusable. I should also mention that the belt had a hole torn into it when the bracket failed.I highly recommend spending an extra $100 and getting something of better quality.

Works great, love it!
Iâve been using this daily for several months now and I love it! Works great, plenty of speed for walking and then some. Iâm not sure how it would be if you ran on it but I use it for walking. I did have the noise that people complained about – but- once I took it off the carpeting it was fine! I think you would need a treadmill pad if you want to keep it in a carpeted area. It takes up such little room that Iâm even going to put it in my rv when we take trips!

Frequent adjusting
The tread mat slips to one side or the other side often and needs adjusted in the middle of short workouts. It isnât as easily moveable as thought but does fit the space I wanted it for.

Great cardio for small spaces
I wanted a small casual treadmill that I could neatly tuck away after having one of those huge bulky ones in the past. I usually casually jog or speed walk and this was more than enough for me, it definitely beats exercising in hot texas heat outside. I love how space saving it is since I donât have a room to spare. This is extremely easy to set up and put away if needed, no assembly required and not super heavy. Very good looking as well, many have asked me where I got mine from!

Ok but belt moves
I like my treadmill but unfortunately I can keep the band from going to the left when Iâm walking on it. I tried adjusting but continues to move to the left and the belt rubs and make a noise. Iâm not sure what to do because it works but the belt moving to the left is annoying and I have to stop and re adjust every 10 to 15 minutes.

Wow, better than expected – surprisingly quiet and smooth. No set up required – just take out of box, plug and play! I love that it’s slim but feels solid. Hope it’s durable. No complaints so far, will update after a few months of use. Recommend!

The idea is great, but having to adjust the belt every single time, and some times in the middle of my workout, is inconvenient and has caused my belt to become frayed on the sides.

I was so excited that my treadmill arrived today ahead of schedule!!!!Pulled it out of the box, read the manual, powered it up and it doesn’t work!E7 error. We’ve been fiddling with the power and controls but we can’t seem to clear the error.There’s nothing in the manual to explain the meaning of the code or how to reset it. Went to castaway’s website and there’s no information there either.I’ve sent them a message, I’ll update this review when I hear back from them.Disappointed.
