Haakaa Ladybug Silicone Milk Collector â A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!
From my first to my fifth kid, breastfeeding has been a journey, but the Haakaa Ladybug Silicone Milk Collector has completely transformed the experience! I went from pinching my nipple, using napkins in my bra, and upgrading to breastfeeding pads to finally discovering this amazing little device. This milk collector is a lifesaver! Itâs soft, comfortable, and fits perfectly in your bra to catch letdown milk without any hassle. No more wasted milk or soggy nursing padsâjust easy, mess-free collection. Itâs also gentle on sore nipples and so simple to clean and reuse.I wish I had known about this from the start. Itâs an absolute must-have for every new mom. If youâre breastfeeding, do yourself a favor and get the Haakaa Ladybug. Itâs a total game changer and worth every penny!

I wish I wouldâve ordered sooner!
These are the 2.5 oz shown. I truly love these! I sleep in these for part of the night. I went the cheap way out at first and ordered an off brand pair of collections cups which had a vent hole in the top that would often get turned the wrong way & spill my milk on me. After a few times of that happening, I decided it was time to invest in something better quality. I was most attracted to these because of the plug in the top of the collector. Itâs a great feature. Not to mention I have plenty of space to collect quite a bit of milk! You can push down on them when first put on your breasts to cue suction, itâs not much suction but just enough to help the cups not move around too much! The silicone feeling is soft and doesnât bother my sometimes sensitive breasts. I like the feature that they can stand on their own when put down & seem pretty sturdy. I often collect 2-3 oz in the mornings with these!

Bulky milk collector
I’ve been using this for a month now and as time goes on, I’m starting not to like it as much anymore. It’s the first milk collector that I’ve tried, so I don’t have anything else to compare it to just yet.Pros:-collects up to 2oz milk let down-has a spout to empty-can stand on flat surface-doesn’t get knocked off bc you can put it inside your bra-doesn’t spill while wearing it inside your bra and bending down or laying sideways-easy to clean-it’s literally a milk collector for leaky breasts and not a strong continous suction like the haakaa, so don’t get it confused :p. You squeeze it to create a suction, then put it on your breast. The suction power is just enough to make sure it stays on your breast and not draw out the milk.Cons:-expensive-bulky even if you are a 36A. It IS discreet so when you look on the outside with a shirt on you can’t tell that you’re wearing it. However, the comfort level of wearing it is a bit annoying. If you’re bigger than a 36A, I think it’ll start looking and feeling even more uncomfortable while wearing inside your bra because of its protruding shape.-the suction can pop off, hence the bulkiness. I’ve had to redo the suction many times so it can stay on, but eventually I give up and just let it sit there inside my bra. It’s bulky, so it stretches your bra instead of being semi-flattened out after creating the suction and putting it onto your breast.-the opening for your nipple can sometimes dig into your breast. It’s silicone and soft when you feel around the whole with your finger, but when you put it on your breast, it can feel a little bit sharp digging into your breast tissue.I bought it for the pros, but maybe I’ll try something else because the bulkiness and suction popping off is annoying.

Wow!!!
I love the Ladybug! I had my first baby 3 years ago and loved the concept of the original Haakaa but it wasn’t practical. It was hard to use while breastfeeding. Had more than a few spilled milk incidents by accidently knocking of the suction while adjusting the baby. Found out about these during recent pregnancy. The Ladybug sucks right on and stays on discretely in my bra.The pic is colostrum (liquid gold!) that would have been lost to a breast pad during my let down on the nonfeeding breast. Now that my milk is in it easily catches anywhere from a half to full ounce!! I bought another so I could rotate them between washing. One time I was out and about, away from baby, I went ahead and popped them in my bra when it was close to feeding time. Caught my leaking (hidden under my jacket) and when I did get home I had two ounces to put right in the fridge!Love, love, love!

May be user error but not enough…
I bought these after a mom friend told me about how she would use hers on a daily basis. Unfortunately, my flow isn’t as giving as I would like it to be. Here are some things that I lie and don’t like about this product. Pro: The material is very soft and comfortable. The shape as well. I like that I can put it in my bra and go about my day without looking like I’m a Madonna cosplay participant. It’s easy to clean. the item does seal and collect as it should without doing damage to the breast. Cons: There isn’t much suction so for me and my minimum let-down, it only collects the droplets. It doesn’t pull anything from my breast. It’s a bit bulky so for the use of nipple protection while sleeping, I don’t know if I would use it for that. Also, because the suction isn’t very strong, I wouldn’t trust it to stay in place all night long. So for collection use, If you have a generous letdown…I’d say this is the right thing for you. (best use is when you’re feeding on one side and collecting with the product on the other) If you need that extra help to collect…..use the actual Haakaa breast pump. Even though it is awkwardly shaped, I find that it works betterfor me.

Worth the money
I absolutely loved these when I was breastfeeding my youngest and wish I would have gotten some with my older two as well. They can be kinda uncomfortable when you first start using them but you’ll need to figure out the best way to wear them. I wore them during the day. I do not advise to wear them while sleeping, the suction can come loose and your milk will spill.

I like this product better than the original hakaa. No pain to the breast and fits easily in a bra. Best passive milk harvesting device ever
