Supports dogs while they grieve the loss of a litter mate
Our chihuahuas are litter mates. They were the entire litter. They are sisters. Sadly one of them died on Saturday June 22, 2024. The remaining sister grieved heavily and is still very depressed. She was wandering around the house looking for her sister. She wasnât eating well, didnât want to go outside for walks, and didnât seem to enjoy car rides. We bought her the pink heartbeat puppy. At first she would get up and move away from it when we placed it near her. Now she snuggles up to it or next to it and seems to be sleeping much better. She has begun to eat regularly, go for walks, and seems to enjoy car rides. She still seems to be grieving but she and her sister were never apart for their entire lives. They turn 14 on August 30, 2024. So far this puppy has been perfect. It is so soft, long enough to spoon her entire body, and has no scent that I can sense. I am sure she smells the cloth, heart beat mechanismâs plastic, etc. The heartbeat is a little faster than an adult dogâs regular rate. But, our sweet tea cup chihuahua doesnât seem to mind this. Or, she has such good manners she is being polite by not mentioning it. ðððð

Great for new puppy!!
Puppy loves it!!! She loved it from the first night we brought her home. Sleeps with it in her crate. Ticking heart sound is great. Not too loud. (Only wish it had a remote to turn heart sound on/off). Great for our sweet pup!

Requires 2 AAA batteries and occasionally shuts off. I’m not thrilled about that feature at all, because the puppy cries when it goes off (does he think it died?) But it provides comfort and he likes it a lot.

This is the Most important little âBuddyâ for our 8 month old Maltese. He sleeps with his head on it every night. The âBuddyâ 2x longer than our puppy, and Maxwell drags him all over the house! It is durable and there are NO tips or tears at all!It is so cute, and chewable. Great value for the money. Extremely safe for dogs and kids I believe

When the heart stops beating….
Initially I would have given this 5 stars. Even 10 if I could! I rescued a puppy that was used to being with his siblings, sleeping in a pack (or a puppy puddle) and this little “thunder buddy” as I call it was a lifesaver!….. until it wasn’t.4 days after the 30 day window, the little pink heartbeat generator went into full cardiac arrest and even after changing the batteries to a few sets of brand new ones, it never beat again. (Defeating the purpose) there isn’t an option to contact seller so I’m stuck with a 25$ stuffie or spend another 10-15 on a heart replacement.

Immediately Working
1. I never leave Amazon reviewsâever.2. I literally took this out of the box ~1 hour ago and itâs already working for my little guy, @splash.fontela.3. Splash (my dog) has severe anxiety and separation anxiety. Itâs something I knew when I adopted him. When this arrived today, I was curious to see if heâd be afraid of it cause of the heartbeat or if heâd warm up to it. He usually uses dog toys as pillows rather than toys, so I had purchased this for that makn reason. And the soothing feature was cool, so if it worked = bonus! But yah, I unpacked the stuffed animal, popped some AAA batteries into the heart (batteries done come with order), and called him over to check it out. I placed the dog toy on the couch and he was immediately interested and pawed at where the heartbeat was coming from. Then he started to lick its face and then laid next to it. That was about an hour ago and now the two seem inseparableâ¦I might need to buy another!
