it worked better than deodorants for me
For me, there is nothing I have tried that can compare! Since I can remember I have been self-conscious about overactive perspiration and often having a smelly right armpit when I became anxious! Nothing helped… even drysol wasn’t completely effective. I gave this powder a shot, expecting minimal results, and to my surprise, it truly made a positive and profound impact on my life. I no longer had to worry about the type of shirt I wore, or my armpit(s) smelling… it’s a very embarrassing chronic problem, and one that affects your self-esteem and relationships. So… to get to my point… i couldn’t believe that something actually worked. On its own, it worked better than any deodorant I have tried ( countless), but found I would have to re-apply often on busy work days when I was stressed or feeling anxious. But the real remedy came when I started applying a thin layer of cocconut oil to my armpits and then patting the powder on top of it until the area felt dry and was covered. ( lightly… not a super thick caky crumbly layer). I think it is the antibacterial properties of the oil coupled with the oil helping to keep the powder adhered to my armpit that was really the big fixer! Even if I do sweat a little when using this method, the swear doesn’t smell! I rarely have to reapply during the day and even if I do, my armpits are only slightly moist and pretty much smell like nothing…. and that is not the case if i don’t use it! The powder is fresh smelling, but not overbearing like some deodarants can be… in fact, I feel like the worst smell is that stale sweet deodorant smell that sometimes mixes with body odor. With this powder, at least for me… I literally can smell my armpit after working out or a stressful work day and it smells like nothing. Takes me literally 20 seconds to apply in the morning and usually carry the powder in my bag just in case I need more. Also, it’s a safe alternative to the chemicals/ toxins in deodorant.Only 2 negatives are that it can be a little messsy… usually have powder Marks inside my shirts and a little more pricey than regular deodorant. … and, if you use my method, you could end up with blocked sweat glands once n’ awhile… I have had a few red lumps (mildly painful) in my arm pits that last for a week or so but then resolve on their own, but having used this powder for several years, it’s been a small price to pay and doesn’t happen often. Doesn’t sound like everyone has had the same experience as me on here, but I would definitely suggest adding the coconut oil before giving up on it! Two disclaimers… one is that I have never tried any other deodorant powder so maybe other brands are just as good, secondly, I imagine blocking your sweat Glands with the oil/ powder isn’t something a doctor would reccomend but I have had no major issues with it

Good effective deodorant antiperspirant!
I really like this product! I’m realizing that my armpits are very sensitive. I used to use a popular roll-on for years – kept me dry as a bone! Well, I learned that it kept me too dry which is unnatural. A few years ago, I developed an staph infection (MRSA) under my left arm and it required surgery to remove it all. Since then, I have tried several aluminum-free products that just didn’t cut it. Either I just sweat it off (heavy sweater!) or there was no odor control. I have an activated charcoal deodorant that’s ok but it darkens my skin for some reason and it’s just not very effective.I bought this product about a month ago and I am quite satisfied! It keeps me dry and controls odor! My skin is quite sensitive so I don’t use it every day, it makes me a little itchy which is the reason for the four stars. Another reviewer suggested using a little coconut oil first and then apply the powder which is very helpful if you have very sensitive skin. I apply the powder with a big fluffy brush which was another reviewer’s recommendation which was great advice and keeps you from getting powder all over! You only need a small amount and it works very well. Some reviewers did not like the smell but I don’t find it intrusive at all. In fact, I can barely smell it. I also use the powder to freshen up my house slippers! Works great!12/14/2018 – I’ve decided to up my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. I am very satisfied with this product. I no longer have the slight itching at all and sometimes I really throw it on! The protection is effective and consistent. The cornstarch absorbs moisture but it allows you to sweat. The protection lasts all day. It’s exactly what I need!

Smells ok
The scent is fairly light but pleasant in a masculine way.The container sorta sucks. The powder is slow to exit the can.More of an after shave/haircut powder. No menthol.

This product works better than any other typical aluminum antiperspirant I have ever tried. I have really stinky pits and have tried every extra strength antiperspirant out there. None of them work. Plus, all of those products contain aluminium and most are tested on animals, which I do not like to support. I was so glad to learn about this product. A friend told me that her doctor recommended it for her problem pits, so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m on my second bottle/can now and couldn’t be happier. My pits are no longer stinky, and I’m happy to not be soaking in a bunch of aluminum every day. There are a couple of minor cons to the product, but nothing significant enough to warrant not using it: it is slightly messy to put on, meaning that a little powder spills on my counter-top every time I use the product, but it’s worth the slight inconvenience. Also, when I first started using the product, I developed a very minor rash for a few days. My guess is that the rash was due to my skin not being used to sweating (since the aluminum attempts to stop perspiration). I could feel that my pits were sweating more than they used to with aluminium antiperspirant, so I suspect that the added moisture caused a very slight rash. At first I was worried that I was allergic to the product, and I was so bummed because I found something that finally made me not stink to high-heaven. However, after a few days I think my skin got used to the change; the rash disappeared and I’ve had no problems since. The product continues to work wonderfully. I’ve been using it for about two months. I’ll also add that this product worked for me through one of the hottest summers I’ve ever lived through…. in Arizona where we frequently hit 110 and up. If it works for the stinkiest pits in Arizona and through the summer months, it will work for anyone!
