Sturdy and practical
I love this! I got it for a Christmas gift, I work from home and most of the time donât want to be stuck in a room or at a desk, I will sit on the couch and this works so good! It has a nice spot for a phone, iPad or book, material for my mouse, and the perfect space for my computer. It doesnât get my computer too hot either. And thereâs a comfy pad on the bottom and it also doubles as a wrist rest to help fight wrist pain. Thereâs also a pad on the back side and helps give it a good height. I highly recommend

Great Lapdesk, depending on your needs
i had a need for a product like this and I looked at a lot of different items and had no idea what to get. Hopefully this will help someone.I wanted a comfortable, stable desk that would also allow me to use a mouse easily and thatâs what this is. Unlike some of the negative reviews mine appears to be sturdy, well built for what it is, and very comfortable. Iâm using a 17â thin laptop on it which has a 15.5â wide chassis. It overhangs the mousepad portion by 1â. You can use a laptop with a 14.5â CHASSIS width without overhanging the mousepad. Just measure the width of your laptop to see how it will fit. The mousepad itself is 6.25â x 7.75â. Iâm able to sit in a La-Z-Boy and the lapdesk fits on my lap fine between the arms of the chair. Iâm able to do business work on it with no issues using the built-in mousepad, and if Iâm gaming with the laptop Iâll usually use a separate mousepad to the side as the built-in is a bit small for that purpose. Itâs great for maintaining adequate airflow to the laptop when it needs more ventilation.The wrist pad is a bit high but is soft and comfortable for me. The pads underneath are also comfortable and fit me fine. It feels heavy enough to be stable but doesnât feel bulky, and it transports easily. Iâm 6â1â and some of the negative reviews on comfort mentioned that they were shorter, so that could be in issue for some people. In addition, the phone holder doesnât work well for my IPhone 11 max. I never use that feature but I tested it out to see, and although my phone never fell out it leans forward instead of leaning back. A smaller phone might work, but I donât know. Since I donât use it I donât care, but if thatâs important to you then you might be disappointed.All in all this was exactly what I was looking for and Iâm happy with it.

Very nice but questionable usefulness with a mouse
Generally speaking, this is an attractive, well made lap desk. The wood looks very nice and the cushions are very good quality.I am taking off 1/2 a star because the mousepad itself is shabby in comparison. The “leather” (I cannot tell if real or not) is fine, but was sloppily glued down. And in fact the entire white plastic mouse pad frame – which feels cheapy – was not properly glued to the desk itself. These were easily remedied with home glue, but compared to the rest of the desk, it is a miss and deserves a 1/2 deduction.My other issue with this lap desk is the functionality for a mouse, so I am removing another 1/2 star. As the pictures clearly show, the rear cushion is quite a bit taller than the front. This gives the desk a distinct tilt forward. If you are long-legged as I am, when sitting on a chair or couch, the slope of the desk is several inches down in the front. This might be great for the ergonomics of the keyboard, but honestly it is terrible for the ergonomics of a mouse. I tried using one, and every time I let go to take a sip of coffee or grab a piece of paper, the mouse would quickly slide right down the pad and get stopped on the bottom wrist cushion. The whole time I was using it, I felt like my right hand was fighting gravity to hold the mouse up on the mousepad. It was wearing, to be honest.In the end, I more often than not use a trackball rather than a mouse, and this works perfectly, as the trackball has anti-skid rubber feet on it, holding it in place despite the pronounced slope of the surface.TL;DR:An attractive lap desk which had a bit of sloppiness in the gluing of the mousepad. And if you have long legs, you can expect the surface to be strongly sloped down on the front when sitting on your lap, causing the mouse to constantly want to slide to the bottom of its pad.

After much research and watching review videos on YouTube, I bought this lap table to allow me to move away from my desk at times as a ‘change of scenery’. Arrived quickly and was boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap. Am currently using it right now and it is very sturdy on my lap (I’m a small 5ft2in woman) — it is quite big (wide) however I needed it wide for my 15.6″ HP Spectre x360 laptop (I don’t think a 17″ laptop would fit without covering some of the mousepad). Padding underneath is extremely comfortable across my laps, and it works when I have my legs crossed under me as well. Looking forward to using it outside in my egg-chair! Thoroughly happy with my purchase.
