Very helpful
I have used various products over the years that are supposed to help keep humidifiers clean, so I have some experience in this area. Our current home has a forced hot air system, so humidifying is a must. We bought a 6 gal. unit this year and tried this product to reduce bacteria and slime build up. I find that though this is not inexpensive, it really does work. I have never had a unit stay cleaner than I have with this. So, even with the price, I feel like it is well worth it for the health of the air that we are breathing and to prolong the life of the filters as well as minimize build up without using harsh chemicals.

Was pretty impressed with the delivery. It seems to be a pretty good product and I have been adding it to my humidifiers for a couple weeks now. You can tell itâs keeping the water clean and Iâm not seeing the pink sludge in the humidifiers anymore.

It works, but price is too high as it goes so fast
This works great. I clean humidifiers less often and cleaning is so much easier. I’m so happy about it. They ship so fast, too. One big down side is the price. Too expensive. I have 3 humidifiers. I have been buying this product twice a month since October 2024. I must have spent something like $200 already for 4 months. I might as well invest on other types of humidifier which I can use without this product. Again, the product does work.

Works but is expensive
It keeps my humidifier quite clean so that is great but the jug doesn’t last long and is prettyexpensive. A technician for a cleaning company told me to just use 12% peroxide with a littlebleach to do the same thing and that is working great. Neither this product nor the peroxideis helping much with the white dust. Seems the little blue fish or balls are best for that butdon’t still don’t solve that problem

Hypochlorous acid based cleaning solution for humidifiers
This basically seems like a Hypochlorous acid-based humidifier treatment. If you look that up on any popular web search engine, you’ll see that it’s a disinfectant used for everything from cleaning surfaces in the restaurant industry to “fogging” office buildings in order to disinfect them. I don’t believe the strength of the hypochlorous acid solution is listed, but they have nailed a product that works well for humidifiers – I’ve tried using other hypochlorous acid 500ppm products in my humidifier but they seem to aggravate my lungs (and also, leave a stronger smell) – this stuff doesn’t. That could just be because it’s at the perfect strength for humidifiers. You can *make* your own hypochlorous acid solution at home using a generator system – again, you can just do a web or Amazon search for various types – and that probably would work as well. From what I have read this stuff is basically the safest disinfectant that you can use that actually works. You can’t use chemical based things like “Golden solution” in ultrasonic humidifiers but you can do exactly that with this.Could I dilute the 500ppm Hypochlorous acid solutions more or make my own for less money? Possibly, but this product works, it works very well, and the only thing that I have used that seemed to be as effective and non-irritating as this are colloidal silver solutions sold for humidifier disinfecting, and they are quite a bit more expensive to use.Purefy-life also sells this product at what I believe is a higher concentration of “active ingredient” (Hypochlorous acid) for “large size humidifiers” but the only difference I can see is that this is 2oz per gallon of water and the other is 1oz per gallon of water, so that is another way to save a little on the purchase price.It’s *dry* where I live usually, and humidifiers are a must for personal comfort. I can’t imagine going back to having to clean and disinfect my humidifiers every 24-48 hours which I used to have to do in order to prevent “red bacteria” growth and general nastiness. Very effective and seems quite shelf stable for a hypochlorous acid product, though there doesn’t seem to be an expiration date on the bottle. I generally use the stuff within a month or two of purchase.Five stars for working well until something better comes along that I can safely breathe in mist form!

DOES NOT WORK – Made matters worse, and NON-RETUNABLE?!!
I purchased this to help maintain my humidifier. I used it as directed for 3 days and it ruined my humidifier. I have had this humidifier for a few years, this turned the inside brown and was extremely hard to clean off. I had to throw out the new filter and put in a new one. So now I am spending MORE on a new filter and way too much time cleaning out what this product caused. Luckily it didn’t completely ruin my humidifier, but this is not OK. This was not cheap to purchase, and I want my money back. All options to return say, “This product is not eligible for a return or replacement”.I contacted the seller and they said this, “We follow Amazon’s standard return policy. Please initiate return as you no longer need the product. There is no process outside Amazon’s process nor have the capability to generate return labels. Please contact Amazon if you need a return label. The return address is on the label. You can always return it via USPS or UPS.”Amazon said it’s not returnable when I called back so the seller is still not offering the return like say they are.
