I got my 2 Lt. Version in yesterday. The material seems thick and the seals seem solid. I give it points for sturdiness and the fact there’s no funky tastes even when new.My issue is that these mouth valve keeps locking on its own just with the pressure of the tube flexing. The stiffness of the tube itself pushes the valve into your teeth which locks off any water flow. In addition, even if you hold the tube so the valve stays open, the flow through is barely a trickle even if you suck on the straw. Very hard. When you’re out in the sun on a hot day, you need more than a trickle of water.

Gross straw. Hard to clean.
Impossible to clean inside the straw and you can see visible build up. It grossed me out to the point where I had to stop using it. I felt wasteful purchasing this product because I maybe used it 3 times before tossing it.

SCAM – This 2 Liter bladder is only 1L – it is marked and sold as 2L
Manufacturer is selling a 2 liter bladder which is actually a 1.25 liter max. The bladder looks comically small so I weighted it to measure the â2Literâ capacity. each liter weights a kilo – 2.2lbs – this full bladder and the bladder weight included is 1.5 kilos.The liter markings in the bladder are pure fiction 1/2L 1L 1-1/2L 2L. This is a deliberate falsification to mislead buyer.

It’s a perfect fit for my hydration pack, and it’s performed flawlessly on several hikes and bike rides.The valve works great.
