Perfect for our Saturday long runs
Saturday mornings are usually spent with our club running crew. We tackle around 10 miles on those days, and having a reliable way to stay hydrated is super important for me. I’ve got three of these nifty little water containers that have become an essential part of my running gear. I fill ’em up with electrolyte powder at the start, and then fill it with fresh water around mile 6 or 7 – just what I need to power through the rest of the run. They fit perfectly in my belt or pouch, and the design makes it easy to squeeze out a refreshing drink when I need it. Overall, I’m really impressed with how well they’ve worked for me so far!

Good Quality
I have just received the portable bottle. Good quality. BPA free. I washed it with dish soap and filled in water. No leakage, no smell. I like the color. It is convenient to carry around and easy to fold up for storage. I wish the lid be tighter so it wouldn’t be slid open easily when I take it with my finger into the loop. Cannot wait to use it during my hiking next week.

No leaks, great for skiing
We like to have a little bit of water when we are out skiing, I have a insulated bladder backpack that I use. I got this for my daughter who doesn’t like to ski with a backpack so she can keep it in her jacket pocket to keep it from freezing. We definitely do not want it to leak in the jacket when we are out in the cold and this bottle has held up for a couple of days of skiing so far without any leaks. The bottle does have any bad tastes or smells, which is a bonus. Definitely recommended!

Not worth it
Leaky, when bent will not hold water.

Not silicone
It’s stated as silicone but it’s actually an unknown plastic that does seem to contain liquid but odor seeps through and gets on everything it touches. Not silicone.

An excellent soft flask for running
The weather is hot where I live, too hot for a running vest or even a belt in the summer, in my opinion. I prefer to stuff my fuel in my pockets and hold a soft flask in my hand: a half-liter flask for long runs that I can refill every six miles, and a quarter-liter flask for my favorite short-run route, where there’s a water fountain that I can spoke out from and get back to every three to four miles. This bottle is now my go-to for that running route, which I take two to three times per week. Everything on this bottle works as it should: water flow from the valve is adjustable by slightly raising (for faster) or lowering (for slower) the mouthpiece, the material is grippy enough for sweaty hands to hold, the cap doesn’t leak and is easy enough for those sweaty hands to open and close for refills, water from it doesn’t taste like plastic, it doesn’t leak, and it’s easy to clean.I do wish it could turn more inside-out for air drying, but its translucence is a big help in seeing whether the bottle has dried or any water droplet are still inside.I removed the valve cap from mine, because it gets in the way of drinking while running, but it seems like it would be useful for backpacking or climbing or paddling or other activities where you would need to keep dirt off the valve.

On the small side – I was going to use it for a traveling ice pack
17 oz isn’t really a lot of water for staying hydrated, at least not for an adult, definitely not an athlete. Might be a good item to add to a diaper bag to have clean water for an infant or small child.
