Once the exposed portion of the patch is positioned, carefully remove the remaining backing to completely apply the patch to the affected area. Use 1 patch for up to 12 hours. Soothing for the targeted area
Bought these for lower back pain, but worked so well I started using them during my cycle. They do have the signature tingle and smell of classic icy hot. I tend to like this smell, but if you dont it doesnt linger too much after application. and probably depends on where you apply it. I do wish they were a bit bigger. Or came in a variety of size pack.

A masterpiece product for pain relief! With caveats.
They’re a lifesaver and a nice addition to anyone’s first aid. Be mindful of Lidocaine patches, while they are effective, they can cause further skin irritation with uneven use. You’ll need to read the directions for these as they are but a percentage point lower than prescription lidocaine patches, and depending on the individual, your symptoms may be less than worthy of using these for long term use. But for me, I had upper back pain in a particular area and they work well for about 3 hours of use, then kinda fade out over the day. You’re not supposed to use more than 3-4 a day, so i’d go along with that. If after a few hours pain is returning, or it’s in a different area, it’s fine to take the one you have off and cover the prior area and new area, it’s all dependent on how painful it is, for me I was experiencing a numbness and itchiness in that part of my back. The icyhot formula has always worked, but lidocaine is a perfect addition to their standard formula. I’m satisfied to say the least, and a little peeling doesn’t bother me I assure you when the pain is relieved. But with that said, the adhesive is abysmally bad. They really need to work on that. I advise that you take as many fabrics as you can off that may collide with the product. You can also use a little surgical tape to help keep it on if you have some handy. Otherwise, keep pressing.

Not Great Adhesive
I have a love hate relationship with these. They work really well when my back or neck flares up, enough to the point where I did buy another box, but they don’t stick very well. I have to wear a tight shirt or high waisted pants to hold it in place, or else the edges peel up and soon the rest of the patch goes with it.

Lidocaine Patches with Poor Adhesive Strengthgth
As much as I tend to avoid writing unfavorable reviews, I want to advise those looking for pain relief that this product may not live up to expectations.I have been experiencing chronic pain, and was anxious to find a product that I believed would be helpful. I researched numerous items, and decided on these Lidocaine patches in hopes of relieving my pain.The patches, unfortunately, are very thin and flimsy, and do not readily adhere to the skin. In fact, they shifted frequently, and would lift and fold over upon themselves, leaving the painful areas untreated. Any movement easily displaced the patches, as they virtually fell off and had to be searched for beneath my clothing.They are only 4% Lidocaine, and the alleged therapeutic benefit is veritably non existent.I’m a registered nurse, and for the price this is a poor quality product.Continue reaearching, as I am, to find something better to resolve your pain.Best of luck!
