Great non-toxic option
For reference – I have long, very straight, thick hairI like to use heatless curls and this definitely helps them hold and last longer. Moisturizing and keeps my hair healthy while controlling frizz.I dampen my hair and apply halfway down to my ends. Combing then distributes it to my roots. If I apply directly to my roots, it makes my hair a little greasy.Overall I love it and absolutely love this brand. There are very few brands that have this quality for the price and are non-toxic.

Iâve used innersense stuff before and really liked it but this is my first time using this foam. Itâs so light weight but holy cow did it make a difference! I have mixed hair texture, from 2b to 2c and this defined my curls wayyy more. Very little frizz too which iâve never found a solution for

Perfect for Low Porosity Curl/Waves
My hair is essentially virgin hair at this point, I don’t apply heat or color it. Therefore it seems to need the gentlest of gentle products to bring the curl definition out and this stuff is a dream. I wash it every other day to avoid overloading it with product, so buying this every 2 months does add up. It barely has a scent and it’s so light! Wish the price was lower but I truly love this stuff.

Love the product, hate the smell
Love this product in defining curls, but a con is the terrible smell. I’m unsure what the smell is but it made my entire car stink after I got in it. It’s very effective for the styling aspect, but if you have to be within 2 feet of someone I would find anything product to use.

I really like this foam, itâs soft and plump on the hair and still provides definition. I have low density 3b/3c hair and fine hair strands so itâs really difficult finding products that work on my hair (plus I also have low porosity). Iâve tried volumizing foams from curls itch but theyâre way too heavy for my hair and leave my hair feeling sticky when itâs dry but this one doesnât!! My hair still feels super airy and thereâs not really any âresidueâ feeling like how Iâd get from other foams. The ONLY thing I will say is that it dries quickly in your hands and while youâre working it through your hair and when it dries while youâre still working it through your hair, thereâs not much slip so I have been adding water to it in my hands, rubbing the water and foam together, then racking it into my hair and that usually does the trick! It doesnât really have a strong and noticiable smell, it just smells like herbs which I love!áµÌ it makes my hair last at least 4 days if I combine it with a gel or something to create a light cast on top of it. I use âi create volumeâ gel by innersense on top of the foam which creates that cast on my hair strands while also providing me any extra volume I need.

No brainer
This – along with the sweet spirit leave in – have changed everything. I have coloured, thin but abundant wavy (2c) hair and up until 1 year ago I did not wear my natural curly hair. My journey included curl creams, gels, but results and styling was not always consistent (I had amazing hair one day and then awful the next one). Also, I struggled with this during summer time or at my hometowns tropical heat, as it became completely freezy and spongy. I noticed the difference immediately after using this products. My hair does not have frizz (I would say almost at all), itâs silky, best texture ever and I really feel like itâs finally natural and healthy. Helps with hold and drying time! Drying time was so much faster for my thick hair . Find the cost for size very expensive but buying it anyway .

The product itself is fantastic. I have been using it regularly for a few years. Highly recommend it BUT I would suggest buying it from a different source as it is a sample/travel size priced as a full size bottle

I appreciate finding a product that has zero synthetic fragrance. That’s so hard to find these days! But this is a tiny bottle with a hefty price tag. And it’s very dilute, so needs several big squirts even for short hair. Very light hold, so I add some aloe vera gel overtop to help. If it was more affordable, I’d probably buy it again, but not at this price. My hair is in the 2B range, mix of wave & curl. It might be better for slightly wavy hair, not curly.

This had very minimal effect on my fine wavy hair. This is a VERY small amount of product for the cost. The bottle is as long as my not very large hands. If this was some miracle product, it might justify the cost but sadly, it is far from that. Will not purchase again.
