I set a New Yearâs resolution to hit a certain number of miles this year. After logging 80+ miles in January my knees were starting to bark at me, particularly my patellar tendon. Who would have thought a couple of comfy $12 straps could make such a difference. If you are suffering from runners knee, these are perfect and cheap.

Can someone tell me how this works?
Misjudged the distance from the curb to the street and came down hard on my right foot which resulted in pain up my leg. A few months later, my knee felt like it was hyperextending when I walked. Had to use a cane for support and curtail 90% of my walking. Am slowly getting better but the hyperextension feeling isn’t going away. My daughter said her friends recommended this type of knee strap/brace so I figured I could always return it if it didn’t do the job.Well, it really works…not perfectly, but well enough that I can walk without that hyperextension feeling. To look at it, you wouldn’t think this thing could do anything beneficial but I can tell you it -does- let me walk with 90% pain relief. I do get an occasional twinge but, if this strap lets me eliminate the need for surgery, I’m buying some spares.Bottom line: It not expensive, it’s well-made, and it works.

Abrasive fabric
The sizing works great for small adults (I am 5â0), but unfortunately the support strap itself is quite unpadded and the fabric used seems like it would chafe quickly with how tight they need to be for support. The way the stitching was finished almost seems hard, like it was melted with heat to reduce fraying, and just trying them on in my house felt like it was cutting into my skin. I also bought the PhysFlex patellar supports and the front strap is much more cushioned and the fabric is much softer, but the one size fastening straps are way too long for my thin and small legs. My solution has been to use the fastening straps from the iPow support on the PhysFlex front strap, but I only need to do that because of my size. If you are anything approaching a regular adult size, I would just go for the PhysFlex and not consider the iPow. The iPow is definitely still functionally supportive, but not the most comfortable, which is unfortunate considering the iPow cost more than the PhysFlex at the time of writing this review.

I thought these were well designed and not too bulky like knee wraps. I wear then when jogging and walking and knees feel stronger after sessions. Have not had then very long but seem to be a good product.

This product unfortunately doesnât do what it says, the portion that is supposed to help the knee is none existent. It is poor quality and doesnât do much of anything to help the knee pain

This is one of my best knee braces Iâve gotten! I did not like those big bulky knee guards and itâs very warm and troublesome to wear. This knee brace pushed up the patella and ease off the pain that the rubbing create. This pair is nicely made as it will locked into each side of the straps. It doesnât comes off at all unlike some other brands where the straps is too short and does not strap over each other. Love using this whenever Iâm playing pickleball.
