Great travel mat
This mat is a great mat. The grip is helpful, not a lot of slippage. The color is nice, it is very thin and super easy to roll up or fold for travel. I recently rolled it up so that it was about the size of my 16oz water bottle so I was super excited about that. I would say the 2 downsides of the mat are because it is so thin it moves a bit when on the floor(like fabric would move) but definitely not so much that it is a problem and secondly it could be a few inches longer. I am tall(ish, 5’8″) and I always end up off the mat just a bit. Overall I like the mat and use it both at home and when I travel. Would buy again.

Grippy, light weight, thin.
Pros: very good grip, light weight, folds up well to stick in my backpack.Cons: very thin and does not provide cushion. I would recommend putting it on top of a loaner mat at a studio and putting it on carpet when travelling. Another minor con is dust and pet hair really sticks to itBut over all I’m happy with this purchase. I use a Manduka mat for home practice but that mat is a bit heavy to carry everywhere. I like this jade mat for studio class.

Super light weight and durable
I ordered this so that I could have a yoga mat while I travel on the road every week. I travel four to five days a week using a 22 inch roller bag and wasn’t really in the mood to carry a seperate yoga mat as a carry on.I was shocked when I received the box from Amazon because it was so light; I thought it was empty. This mat is so lightweight and folds up into a nice flat rectangular shape. I just put it right on top of my clothes before I zip up the bag and it fits perfectly.I read some of the other reviews before I bought it and there were a few that said that it’s super-thin and doesn’t provide a lot of padding. I have found in using it that although it’s super-thin it’s very durable and it provides enough padding for me to do yoga in hotel rooms without any problem. I guess it’s because the carpet in hotel rooms, although thin, provides a good base layer for it so I don’t really have an issue. I definitely wouldn’t use it as my primary mat at home because I have hardwood floors and I find that I need a thicker mat than this one. However, I do put it on top of my home mat when I’m doing a practice that puts extra pressure on my knees as I’m 56 and appreciate the extra padding in those cases.There were also some comments about whether it was sticky or not, but I haven’t found that to be an issue. It does not slip at all when I use it on hotel carpets. As a point of reference, I’m 6′ 1″ and 200 pounds. I have had the mat for two months.The only other thing I would add is that it doesn’t feel cheap in any way. From the moment I took it out of the box and in using it over time, it’s very clear that it is a quality product and I’ll definitely buy another Jade yoga mat when I change out my main mat.

Travels well! Durable, grippy, easy to clean!
Really love this mat. It fits my luggage perfectly, easy to care for, very durable. I’m 175cm and it fits me perfectly, definitely need to put down blankets or towels for my knees but the grip is wonderful wet or dry. I usually just sweep it clean and occasionally wipe it down with a damp cloth. If lost, would buy another!!

Perfect for on the go!
So light, great for traveling – a bit slippery. The grip isnât the same and I have to constantly readjust. Lacking in performance. Does the job, but wouldnât buy one again.

I love my JadeYoga Voyager Natural Rubber Yoga Mat ~ Its super grippy surface has improved my yoga practice 100%. The surface is slightly textured and naturally grippy. I am practicing my warriors and my balances and my sun salutations and holding every pose much longer than usual ~ so satisfying! The JadeYoga Voyager Natural Rubber mat provides me with improved stability and traction. I’ve been using the Eko mat. The JadeYoga Voyager is much more sticky than the Eko was.I needed something much lighter for traveling, with enhanced stickiness. The traction of a JadeYoga Voyager mat helps me hold poses. The extra slim Voyager mat provides more stability for better balance. I am very happy customer!Some reviewers made negative comments about the smell of rubber that they claim is strong or unpleasant. I am happy to report that the JadeYoga Voyager natural rubber mat has only the slightest scent of rubber and it is not at all unpleasant. This from me, who is very sensitive to smells good and bad and extremely sensitive to chemically or toxic orders. The JadeYoga Voyager natural rubber mat has a very light pleasant scent which I expect will dissipate over time.The JadeYoga Voyager Natural rubber yoga mat seems to be constructed out of very high-quality materials and seems to be have a great workmanship. On the flip side I see a web of natural fiber woven through the mat for added strength. I bought this for the grip , and grip it does (: . Definitely helps my practice . On the other hand, it grips too well , so it makes moving around in the lying down position a bit sticky [ lol ] . Well made, Looks like it could be durable. The smell is not too offensice and dissipated quickly .

Le tapis est conforme a sa description. Jolie couleur et surtout excellente adhérence !! Je le mets même par dessus mes autres tapis pour une meilleure adhérence.Il est très léger, c’est un vrai tapis de voyage qui n’alourdira pas beaucoup nos bagages. Par contre forcément il est très fin et n’a donc aucun amortit.

I hesitated between the Jade and Yogo mat but in the end this won be over because of the attached strap on the Yogo which I thought would be annoying, they fold to the same dimension anyway. Very happy with my decision, the Jade folds or rolls small and in lots of different ways so perfect for travel. It also looks nice and simple. I tested it with sweaty and not sweaty hands in downdog, crane and wheel and it’s way more grippy than my current mat, love it! I’ll definitely bring it as an ‘over mat in the studios’ as it doesn’t bunch up like my current towel. Sure it’s thin but with a separate kneeling pad it’ll be just fine. Only warning is that it picks up dog hairs, that’s the flip side of the super grip! And if I’m really fussy I wish it came with a little pouch but as it’s a low price I’ll just buy a cotton tote.

I like jade yoga mats. I bought the voyager for an overseas trip. It has good grip and all the other good stuff about jade mats but I found it too hard on my knees for use on a hard floor without additional padding like a towel.
