Total GAME CHANGER – incredibly effective toothbrush for dogs
This silicon finger brush is incredibly easy to use – and so EFFECTIVE (more on that in the last paragraph this review). At first, it seemed a little hard to get on my finger but I simply got my finger wet first under the faucet and it slipped right on with virtually no effort. And once on, it’s easy to take off but doesn’t slip off accidentally when in use – so – perfect! Quick & simply to clean – rinses off in the sink in seconds, and ready to use the next time. And, my dog not only lets me clean her teeth – she actually like it (this from a dog who used to hate it when I would try to brush her teeth with a regular doggy toothbrush). This silicon “brush” is incredibly maneuverable – way more so than standard dog toothbrushes or regular finger brushes. So much so it makes it super easy to not only get those normally impossible to reach back molars – AND – even the back sides of the teeth! With a normal dog tooth brush (or finger brush) my dog’s clamping down made that impossible. Now, it’s not only possible – it’s easy! Our dog’s canine teeth had build-up but it was not until I pulled her gums back and looked at her back molars that I saw how bad things had gotten – and we have a young dog! Her back molars not only had build-up but some appeared to be stained a tea colored brown that did not come off with my fingernail. It was pretty disheartening and I felt terrible. How could this happen so quickly? The vet said it was plaque (and not yet tartar) and that it wasn’t bad enough to warrant a professional cleaning – yet – but that I needed to do a better job brushing. He said: “I can see exactly where your brushing stops” (referring to the condition on the back molars which I had not been able to do with a regular brush as my dog just wasn’t having it).Tips: here’s what’s working for us. Instead of squeezing out a pea sized blog of tooth paste onto this brush, I put a tiny dab – that it’s – on the very tip of the brush and focus my efforts on two of our dog’s worst teeth on one side – on top and then on the bottom. Then I put another small dab and repeat on the other side of her mouth with 4 teeth on that side. Then, I use another small dab and focus work on another group of teeth. All totaled, I’m using maybe 4 to 6 very small dabs of dog toothpaste, probably half the size of pea collectively, perhaps less. That’s it. However much you choose to use is up to you – be sure and use an amount that’s safe and effective for your dog.Effectiveness: this works and it works well! In just 3 days using the same vanilla flavored enzymatic toothpaste by CET I was seeing improvement. By day 7, that improvement was so obvious I was actually surprised by how much better they looked. It’s now been a little over two weeks and they are looking considerably better! Conservatively, I’m thinking a 50% improvement. Not bad for just 2 weeks, right? I’m actually think I’m going to be able to completely reverse things – we’ll see. I’ll try and update this review again in a few weeks and let you know how it’s looking but in the meantime, I am absolutely thrilled with this brush. I paid $16 and it came 2 in a pack) and the first (and only one) I’ve been using still looks brand new after it’s rinsed off. All in all – this brush is a game changer! I can now brush our dogs back teeth and even the back sides of her teeth, all in less than a couple minutes a day.

Easy to use and works!
After my new Maltese required a tooth cleaning and extraction under anesthesia, my vet encouraged me to brush her teeth with a tiny toothbrush every day. The toothbrush made her gums bleed the first time I tried it, so I researched and decided to try this. I use it every evening, and my vet says my dogâs teeth are clean and there is no tartar! Itâs easy to use: just put a little water inside the brush so it will adhere to your finger, put a little dog toothpaste on the tip, and rub over all your dogâs teeth, including way in the back. It takes a few seconds, and she seems to enjoy it. Itâs easy to take on a trip in the included case.

Makes brushing easier
I am not new to teeth brushing. Iâve been doing it for years with several different dogs, but always with a regular brush. I thought finger brushes were just for starting out. But it turns out I was wrong, at least in this case!I started looking into finger brushes because my current dog has a very long snout (heâs part dachshund) and despite my best efforts, those back teeth werenât getting the attention they needed. With needing to push the brush so far back, I felt like I was getting lost back there and couldnât really tell which teeth I was hitting. My dog also hated the brush and would twist his head around, making the process even harder.I thought a finger brush might be good for both of us because it would give me more control while giving him a break from that hated plastic stick. I was right on both counts. I can feel exactly where I am on his teeth, so I know they are all getting equal attention. And he doesnât seem to mind the soft finger bristles at all! I go slowly, moving the brush in circles, so itâs like a gum massage for him. I worried that the soft flexible bristles might not clean as well, but I think Iâm actually getting better results because I can go slower and I know just where the brush is hitting. Time will tell! The only thing I donât like about this brush is the size of it. My dog is pretty small (18 lbs) and this is a pretty big thing to stick in his mouth. I have to gently pull his cheek away from his teeth to make room for it, and itâs not super easy. I wish the bristles didnât go all the way around the brushâ2/3 or 3/4 would be plentyâ so the circumference would be a little smaller. I also think heâd be happier if he didnât have bristles scraping against the inside of his cheek. But Iâve made it work and he remains compliant, so I canât complain too much.I appreciate that each brush in this two-brush set comes with its own little plastic case. Great for travel, but I wish it had holes so I could use it for daily storage. After I rinse the brush, I donât want to enclose it in something so it canât dry, so I have to lay it on the open case. That just takes up more space. Just a small quibble. I also appreciate that this brush stays ON, unlike those hard plastic finger brushes. No chance of this one falling off my finger and going down Little Dudeâs throat. Sometimes I even have trouble getting it off when I want to. But thatâs a good thing.Because I want my dog to have the best of everything, I comparison shopped finger brushes on Amazon to a stupid degree. I think I chose right when I settled on this oneâ itâs not perfect, but it does what it needs to and my dog doesnât hate it. Thatâs a win for me!

Amazing Find
This is a game changer! Its soooo much easier than a dog toothbrush because you can feel what youâre doing and navigate the product easier. Thereâs a little push back from my dog about teeth brushing so this is an amazing product for a quick and effective brushing. I will definitely be using this product for all of my dogs and telling other people how good it is.
THE WANPANS –
Damnnnn these made cleaning my teeth soooo much easier! Everyone recommended toothbrush, but my little pom just eats it like a chew toy! These finger brush makes things SO MUCH EASIER! Also, since there are no hard plastic, I dont have to worry about hurting my little pom and my Italian greyhounds gum! he knows it’s my finger too so he doesn’t chomp down, and the grip on these finger brush are so tight that I can’t get it off unless I wash it off with water. Best.thing.ever. now let see how long these last. That and I’m. It came with this tiny case that has a nice generous space inside…I guess for traveling?

I honestly donât know what the issue here, is it that my cat’s teeth are way too sharp or the product is weak against sharp teeth? It was split into two after the second use, rendering it useless.Overall, the product’s quality is subpar and I strongly do not recommend it.

This is the first toothbrush I’ve been able to use on my dog without him wriggling away. Easy to use, easy to clean!
Teena Tessier –
Easy to use, nice and soft, just what the vet described needing.I will order again when needed.
Amazon Customer –
Like the amount of bristles, the length of the bristles, softness, clear color, ease of cleaning, separate clear cases to boot. It’s the BEST toothbrushes ever!!!Thank youOther toothbrushes have tiny areas with bristles on one side, are way to short, too stiff, weird rings for finger and spaces that makes no sense. Wasted lots of money on those.
