The best for curly or wavy hair
I have wavy to curly red hair. Being a teenager in the 1980s, I have tried practically every hair product out there, especially those for curly hair. This Frizz Ease product is one of the best I’ve ever used. It actually does refresh curls on non-shampoo days. One of the reasons curly hair is curly is that it has an open cuticle, which is what causes it to get frizzy. So it’s very hard to make our hair smooth. But this stuff makes curly hair smoother, more defined, and less frizzy. Use it on damp hair. I keep a spray bottle with plain water in my bathroom to dampen my hair on non-wash days. Dampen your hair, spray this on and scrunch it up, air dry or diffuse, and you will have curls that are bouncy and pretty smooth. Works better than more expensive brands.

Fixed my hypothyroid hair.
I gotta say, I’m real impressed with this stuff.I have hypothyroidism and so my hair is always dry and coarse, but this stuff fixed everything in just one use. That’s crazy lol.I can get used to the scent for how well this fixed my hair.

When I say get it, I mean, go get it! When you have curly hair, you assume frizz is normal. I got this today and it literally put a stop to over 70% of my frizz. Iâm a busy mom with three kids under five, I typically donât write reviews unless I need to share, and this I need to share! Itâs an easy spray bottle; spray it all over my hair after I get out in light towel dried it. I sprayed it all over, from root to tip, then used my normal mousse and gel after, and I am obsessed. The size of the bottle is decent and the value for the price is unmatched. The product you could barely tell was there until you saw the results. Itâs not greasy or heavy! I donât feel it weighs down my hair and itâs held throughout the day so far. I canât speak for an overnight hold, but we will see you in the morning. 10/10 for me!

I am not super impressed with this product. Usually I love all of John Frieda’s Frizz Ease products, but this one came up short. I bought this for a summer trip to Connecticut, hoping it would help my curly/wavy hair stay manageable in the humidity. For some reason it makes only some of my hair curly and weighs down the rest. Granted, I have very thick hair so I’m not expecting perfect bouncy curls, but the fact that it takes away some of the curl was a surprise to me. I’ve experimented with using different amounts and different levels of dampness in my hair and found that about a pump in half dry hair works the best.Cons: Somewhat of a sticky texture. It does not prevent frizz very well. I put this in my damp hair and let it air dry and my curls still have frizz. It also makes your hair feel somewhat tacky. It’s meant to be a lighter mousse, which it is, but due to its unique consistency it doesn’t work very well with my hair.Pros: Like all John Frieda products, this smells amazing!! It truly is a lighter mousse and will not make your hair crunchy like other products may.Overall, it does a mediocre job of fighting frizz and adding curl. This may just be my hair type and environment, but I wasn’t super impressed. I prefer the other regular mousses from John Frieda such as: John Frieda Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Styling Mousse, 7.2 OunceIf you’re looking for a mousse to add curl and fight frizz, I recommend the curl reviver over this one.

Surprisingly great!
I have very fine, thin, wavy hair. In order to give myself some volume, I usually gel my roots and mid length hair. I don’t *mind* “scrunch the crunch”, and my hair looks good, but…. I decided to try this to just remove one less thing from my day. And it works! It has enough hold while it’s drying that it keeps my waves, but is soft enough that I don’t have to scrunch it at all.

Non greasy low frizz locks at last!!!
Wow! Perfect for those days when there is not enough time to wash my hair before beginning my day, I just mist my hair to a little damp with a spray bottle then spray this on, scrunch it a little and let air dry. This is the first product I have found that keeps my wavy/loose curly hair looking great with low frizz without looking or feeling greasy.
