Product is exactly as described: I can use my regular old wired headphones connected to this adapter and then connect it to the USB-C port of my Samsung phone and then also charge my phone at the same time

I should have read the reviews before buying this. Charger part works fine, but audio cable doesnât work at all. I only hear clicking on my Bose headphones and sound comes out of the iPhone speaker. I will be returning it.

Small issues, but works well
Major issue is when you use this with an iphone, the volume skips odd intervals. Meaning if you hit the volume button once, it should go up 1 tick, but this one skips that single tick and moves up to the 2nd volume level, it’s weird.It does not work with the most recent iPad (m-something, I don’t know which it us but its a 2024 iPad pro). The headphone icon blinks on and off like it’s constantly connecting and reconnecting. But for the iPhone (16 pro) itself it works well for charging and using a 3.5mm headphone.

Must have if you like wired headphones
Well, let me tell you, this adapter was a game changer for our long car trip with my neurodivergent kiddo. I mean, have you ever tried to keep a child entertained for hours on end without being able to plug in their headphones? It’s like trying to herd cats on a hot summer day. And to make matters worse, their phone case is basically glued onto their device (thanks, Amazon Prime) and they refuse to use those fancy, shmancy wireless headphones. But fear not, my friends, this adapter swooped in like a superhero and saved the day. Not only did it allow my child to use their beloved headphones, but it also kept the tunes rolling by charging their phone. Talk about a two-for-one deal. This adapter deserves a round of applause and maybe even a medal. Who’s with me?

So-so product.
It’s cumbersome to carry with me when I’m out of the house, where I’m most likely to need it for connecting wired earbuds to my phone with no jack included. I’ve tried, but it isn’t practical to leave it attached to the phone. I’ve almost lost it at least twice from falling out of my shirt pocket!The second time I connected it to my phone and connected earbuds to listen to music, it didn’t work. This was possibly the phone’s fault. Restarting the phone corrected the problem. But the build of the adaptor seems decent enough and it’s probably pretty durable.I’m not sure how it could be made better. The situation of more recent Android phones being made w/o earbud Jack’s is my main gripe! The sound quality is fine. No doubt as good as if the phone had a built-in jack. I think it cost about $10.00. So, not too steep for correcting an issue Samsung caused by omitting such Jack’s from phone’s released, I guess, starting in about 2020. I’d just prefer not to have had to buy it.BTW, for anyone wondering, for earbuds with an inline mic for phone calls, yes, this adaptor facilitates the mic on those.
