Like to Pry? No Problem!
This deluxe kit won’t unlock your cell phone. But it can open the case without leaving a scratch. In fact, opening a laptop, a remote control, a TV streaming box, etc. can be quick work with this toolkit. A nice assortment, quality components, and a storage case included make this an exceptional value. Definitely recommend.

Includes all the needed tools
This kit appears to contain all the necessary tools to open my iPod and to replace the battery – and be successful at it. Haven’t had the time yet to try it out but after I do I will come back with a follow-up as to the kits usefulness and effectiveness. As it stands now I will say it appears to me to be well made and well worth the money.Service was quick, packing was safe and secure.

Complete Set of Electronics Opening Tools
This a very complete set of tools, including spudgers and pentalobe and torx screwdrivers. This is the second set of tools I’ve ordered from this vendor. This time a nice zippered pouch was included, which is an enhancement. However, the screwdrivers are not as good as before. Their handles are a little shorter and the swivel end is missing; each handle is just a single piece of plastic. These screwdrivers will do the job, but the old ones allow maintaining pressure in the screw with one hand while spinning with the other. The old tools are better. So, there goes a star off my review.

So, my partner managed to crack the screen on his portable bike computer. It’s a common brand so I sourced a new screen. All the electronic pry tools I owned couldn’t budge it – or even get in the slot between glass and case. Found I needed a “spudger” so ordered this kit that had two. A spudger was the right tool for the task, repair effected. Now I have more tools for the next time!

This set was just what I needed to safely disassemble/reassemble an all-in-one desktop
This was the first electronic repair toolset I purchased, and it was acquired for the sole purpose of allowing me to open an all-in-one desktop. Without these tools, I could not have taken most of the steps I needed to do to uncouple the display from the case and access the motherboard. Very grateful for these tools. There was a little material loss from the black tools from scraping/prying the display from the sides/top/bottom, but since all-in-ones are mostly plastic, I felt so much better taking my actions using plastic on plastic. Once opened, the other tools also helped me safely engage with the hardware. This was my first complete opening of a laptop/desktop in about 10 years — I was glad I had this high value set.

The headphone jack for my iPod broke and I used these tools to fix it. The tools worked wonderfully. I botched the repair (turns out Apple has a flimsy part that is known to break easily when you attempt repairs. Really wish I had known) but that was my fault, not the tools. I’m keeping the tools around if I ever need to do any other electronic repairs. They’re useful.

useful to dismantle laptop (I used them twice), but the tip of some of the tools (obviously plastic onces) don’t feel really strong, the edges are starting to tear and I’m not sure they could be used for an every day usage.There are a lot of choices and I think for the price it’s ok, if you don’t use them heavily.
