I now have ordered 5 of these they work great! Warning they may end up making life to easy. But seriously you can use them on lamps for voice command when you enter a room or setup a timer for a schedule. You have been warned.

Looked up NYT Wirecutter reviews & these KASA Smart plugs were #1 recommended over Wemo so thought Iâd give them a try.* KASA plugs connected easily right outta the box!* KASA app intuitive & easy to use, set my on/off times & they work great.* Itâs now been over 30 days and I donât have to think about them, they just work! Easy Setup, but Not Compatible with Sense Energy Monitor
Setting up the Kasa Smart Plug Mini 15A was quick and effortless using the Kasa app. It connected without issues and has been working reliably ever since. I didnât experience any Wi-Fi drops or lag, and it responds quickly to commands.Important Note for Sense Energy Monitor UsersOne thing to be aware ofâthis model does NOT work with the Sense Energy Monitor. If youâre looking for a Kasa plug that integrates with Sense, youâll need the KP115 or KP125 instead, as those models include energy monitoring. I found this out after buying it, so thatâs something to keep in mind.Final ThoughtsIf you need a simple, reliable smart plug, this is a great choice. However, if you want energy monitoring or Sense compatibility, go for the KP115 or KP125 instead.

TP Link Kasa Smart Plugs – 5 stars!
After doing a lot of online research and reading multiple reviews, I purchased a couple of the 4-packs of the Kasa Smart Wifi Plugs (Apple HomeKit supported) to replace a number of older smart plugs from a competitor. The older plugs and associated app had become quite buggy – plugs would drop off the app, then come back, the app would not launch, then would; and the integration with Apple HomeKit was poor.These Kasa plugs from TP Link were easy to install using the Kasa app. Set up timing schedules was a snap. Added them to Apple HomeKit for voice control. I also linked the Kasa app to my Google Home account. I have complete control over these Kasa plugs from the Kasa app, Apple Home app, Google Home app, and voice control via Siri and the Google Home Hub.Also order some Kasa wall switches for the same purpose of control outdoor lights, and a couple of Kasa outdoor smart plugs to control some patio lighting, string lights, and decorative water fountain. This will get all my automation for home lighting over to TP Link Kasa and I will recycle the older plugs/switches and delete the older app from my devices.Very impressed with the Kasa line up. Highly recommended if you are looking to upgrade/replace any existing elements of your home automation set up, or just getting started.

First of all, it is nice that this product does not cover the whole socket. Hooking up to wifi was very easy and within minutes it was operational. Put them in my soffit socket so no more ladder to plug and unplug anything.

Integración con Kasa muy efectiva, la única parte que encontré confusa es que una vez que se abre la aplicación y se añade el dispositivo (este debe estar conectado y parpadeando en azul/naranja) hay que momentáneamente SALIR de la aplicación KASA e ir a configuración para desde ahà buscar el dispositivo en la lista de redes WiFi (aparece como TP_LINK y algún código numérico fácilmente distinguible) y manualmente conectarse a él (desconectándose de la red principal del lugar), una vez hecho esto, de manera automática la aplicación termina el enlace y queda establecido ya sin complicación alguna. Son facilÃsimos de configurar con la aplicación de manera intuitiva, muy versátiles y hasta ahora, extremadamente confiables, los manipulo desde la casa o cuando estoy fuera de la ciudad sin ningún problema.
