these work better than I expected
I didn’t know what to expect for true translation, but getting ready to travel so I thought I’d try these out. You first download the app to your phone, and pair the buds using bluetooth. I opened the app and you can choose from dozens of languages both listening or talking to other languages. you get to choose.TEST 1: I put them in and held the phone up to my TV on a Spanish language tv program: It listened and in real-time populated the bottom screen on the phone app with the English translation AND speaks the translation into your earbud. I was very impressed.TEST 2: what makes these unique, is you can give one ear bud to your friend, so each of you have one in. then in conversation mode selected, you can both talk back and forth casually and it will translate and speak the translation into both earbuds. you can carry on a true conversation. very cool.Note: if you have other bluetooth ear buds for music you probably have rubber on the end to make a seal in your ear canal to block out ambient noise. THESE earbuds don’t have rubber, they fit in your ear I guess like a hearing aid would, not sealed–so you can still hear what’s going on around you. That is good, that way you get the translation but aren’t cut off from the world. good design.Note: these will fit kind of loose in your ear compared to rubber seal type, so don’t expect to jog or work out in the gym with them in. Not designed for that.the digital readout on the front lets me know they are fully charged. the internal battery charges the ear buds even when you’re not plugged in.

I was initially skeptical about its translation feature, but it works well! It was easy to set up and provides fairly accurate translations. The sound quality is also good.

These Language Translation Earbuds have decent translation capabilities, but some drawbacks keep them from being perfect.Accurate Translations – The translations are fairly reliable, with only minor errors in more complex conversations.Good Fit & Sound Quality – The earbuds are comfortable, and the audio is clear enough for conversations.Requires the App to Stay Open – The biggest downside is that the earbuds won’t function without the app running in the foreground, which can be inconvenient, especially when multitasking.Battery Drains Faster – Since the app needs to stay open, it drains both the earbuds and my phone battery faster than expected.Final Verdict: While the translation works well, the constant need for the app to be open is frustrating. If the earbuds could function independently or in the background, they would be much better.
