Touchscreen Chromebook arrived one day early.
I’ve never owned a touchscreen Chromebook before. When I saw this being available for a good price on The ‘Zon, I had to give it a try.It arrived one day early, so I was pleasantly surprised. The unboxing of the Chromebook was secured and protected. I’m currently charging it. I ran a CPU and battery test. I see the battery has a 83 percent lifespan, which is great for a refurbished laptop. The ease of setup is simple enough, just login with your Gmail account. The keyboard is standard and easy-to-use. There are volume buttons, A shutdown/sign out, lock and feedback button,HDMI,c USB and an SD card slot on the sides of the Chromebook. The touchscreen works just fine. The only thing I cannot speak on fully at the moment is the average battery life. The technical details says 10 hours. It is currently charging at 63% and it says I have 3 hours and 30 minutes of battery life left when I unplugged it from the charger. The charging history says it has been charged a little over 130 times. Either way, I think the price is pretty good. I can replace the battery myself if and when I need to.The processor speed is pretty fast. 11.6 inch screen. Comes with a charger. No blemishes. Chromebook looks like new.I’m going to be using this Chromebook for Internet browsing, checking email, school projects and the Google Suite of products. I gave this review five stars because it delivered as promised. Hope this review helps you with your decision!

Descent product. Missing part of charger half the time.
I ordered 1 at first to see how they were. It worked sufficiently for my needs so I ordered 3 more for the kids. Unfortunately 2 of the units came without the USB adapter piece for the charger. This is super frustrating when you have 4 kids trying to charge at night. I have contacted the seller and have not heard back yet. Will update if/when I do.*Update*Sellers reached out to resolve the issue right away. No complaints on my end.

Definitely not “like new” as described, but functional and will do in a pinch
***Update: I amended this review from three stars to one star, because a couple of weeks after I posted this initial review, my computer simply stopped working. It will turn on, but I get a plain black screen. With all the other issues I was having, I simply decided this was not worth the hassle and returned it. I will also note that I didn’t mention it in my initial review, but this whole process also included another purchase of the same item that was for some reason flagged as undeliverable during shipping, so I never received that one. It’s just become a massive headache that’s already worth more than $80 in my time and energy, so I opted to simply return the computer. The return process was easy at least, but I will not be buying refurbished electronics on Amazon again.I’m leaving my original review below for posterity.***I bought this computer advertised in “like new” condition for around $75. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but there are a couple things I have an issue with enough to give a 3 star review. They’re not a big enough deal to request a refund (again, $75 computer here…I feel like going through the process of requesting a return/replacement is more of hassle), but not great. If this had been advertised for its actual condition, I still might have bought it, but I’d be giving it a much better rating.Biggest one is that in my “like new” computer, the track pad is wonky. It sometimes catches clicked down in a way I can feel if I click too far to the bottom left, and I have yet to be able to successfully highlight anything because the drag is weird. Neither of these are a huge deal for the way I plan to use this computer (especially because the touch screen does work fine so worst case I just highlight by touch), but it’s less than I expected based on the listing. The other is that my computer arrived dirty, which I wasn’t surprised by as other reviewers have mentioned it, but it was kind of disappointing. I don’t think it was anything particularly gross, but there was a goopy smear on one of the device’s silver-colored hinges that was rather off-putting, along with a spray of dried droplets on the screen. Probably just grease or oil and the residue of cleaner, but let’s just say I cleaned the whole thing thoroughly before I used it.Overall, though, I just needed a really cheap computer to get me through a couple weeks, and this fits the bill. It runs fine other than the trackpad issue, comes with a decent charger, set up easily, all that good stuff. Just, you know, be aware that you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for!

Great for school use
Our venerable family laptop finally died after persisting in its usefulness for over a year after cracking its case. With all three kids doing a good deal of their (home)schoolwork electronically, I needed to end the resource contention ASAP, and I didn’t want the tween to try to word-process on a tablet. This has, so far, been a pretty good stop-gap.Pros: Very, very cheap. Good battery life. Light and small. The touchscreen seems to be pretty usable. My 10 year old already has drawing programs installed and is making fun art.Cons: No-one is a great fan of the keyboard which is smaller and a little more cramped than they are used to. I cannot personally type very comfortably on it, although I suspect I would quickly adjust. This is our first chromebook of any description and it took some time to work through the OS issues, specifically figuring out how to have multiple users on the same device. While it allows you to set a PIN, your first sign-on of the day seems to have to be your password. They haven’t been used to keeping track of their passwords, so this has been a bit painful. However, please note that this is an OS complaint, not a complaint that has anything to do with this model.

AWESOME QUALITY
It has such great quality especially since its fairly cheap. Its great for art which is what I got it for. The keys are SOO smooth and nice to use and so is the touch screen. I personal don’t know a lot about chrome books and thought it would be a lot worse since this was one of the cheapest I could find but no its incredibly and my siblings have been begging me to use it since i got it. I’ll defiantly buy another one for my brother next time I get paid. I also typed this review on this very device.

I bought the “acceptable” condition to save an extra 40$ and it was worth it. Scratches and scuffs on the outside but the screen and rest of the keyboard are in near excellent condition.Chromebook fully flips to be a quasi tablet. It’s fast enough to provide my 7 year old with a learning platform and media machine. The battery lasted 6+ hours out of the box without charging.I give this listing an A+ for the price

I was looking for a replacement for my old Chromebook. I saw this ad during Boxing Day. I thought it was a very cheap Chromebook. I was aware that it was refurbished, so I didn’t have high expectations. I was just hoping that it would function well. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the unit is still in decent condition. Other than minor scratches on the back of the screen, everything else looks fairly new. The keyboard looks clean, and the touchscreen is quite responsive. It charges quickly, and battery life lasts long. I don’t know if I will encounter technical issues down the road, but so far I am quite happy with this purchase.

The unit I got wasnât a touch screen, the trackpad was faulty and the rubber portion had cuts. Not to mention the chrome OS bugged out.Units like these should be donated or recycled
