More a waist cincher
This is more a waist cincher than a back brace. While it will keep your back stable- most waist cinchers do restrict movement, it’s not super stabilizing. The two “brace” pieces in the back are thin and while they do provide some support, it’s not overly protective and not what I would think of in a back brace, more a waist cincher. The strings used to pull the pieces together and adjust them are thin. The location of the velcro makes adjustments challenging, which kind of seems to defeat the purpose. After repeated uses, I feel the strings to adjust this will snap, and this is not the feeling you want for a supportive back brace. I want stability and something I can depend on. These are… not that.If your back pain is mild and you want a little stability with the added bonus of waist snatching, this is for you. If you really need the stability of a back brace, I’d suggest you go to another product.

This is a girdle with some back support, not a back brace
I’ve tried enough back braces to be familiar with the variations, but this product surprised me. First – because I truly thought that I was sent the incorrect product, second, because it has almost no back-brace qualities, and third – because it’s 99% girdle. The product features two mostly-rigid plastic wedges, ostensibly the idea is to place these on either side of your spine (though when worn, they often touch in the center). The product isn’t super elastic in nature, relying on this strange string-pulley mechanism to tighten. I found it tedious to adjust, generally uncomfortable to wear, and probably meant for a very narrow set of conditions. It’s certainly not a general-wear back brace, and tough to recommend unless this is the exact type of product that your doctor recommended.WHY is this called a “waist protector” – what does that even mean?!

Great Relief for Back Pain!
This back brace provides excellent lumbar support and comfort. The adjustable pulley system allows for a personalized fit, and the breathable material makes it comfortable to wear all day. A must-have for anyone dealing with lower back pain or sciatica!

Not What I Expected
This isn’t really what I expected. It’s more like a cheap girdle than a back brace. It has two hard thin plastic sections that come together by pulling a couple of tabs which tighten strings, and then the tabs have velcro to stay in place. It didn’t extend far enough for me so I couldn’t wear it, but I can’t imagine it provides much support. It’s kind of elastic, but the elasticity is limited because of the velcro panels. The strings are pretty thin and I feel like they’re going to unravel and break over time.

Good waist belt with easy to cinch up pull strings
This waist belt has a nice feature where the front is a zippered instead of a Velcro clasp. The zippered front allows for easy ability to wear and remove, the pull strings to cinch up the belt is nice and smooth and is very easy to adjust and readjust. Overall this waist belt is easy to wear and does provide good waist / lower back support.

Not really much support? More of a corset
I guess this thing is supposed to be supportive because it restricts your movement or something??? But Iâm not totally sure how itâs supportive?I guess the fit is better bc all the laces, but honestly the whole thing feels like a corset to me. Not comfortable, and not really great at providing lumbar support. Just get yourself a nice lumbar pillow and one of those sit anywhere lumbar chairs. This thing is definitely more of a corset than a weight support belt.
