Best ACL Hind Leg Brace Ever !!!
My Boxer puppy had an ACL injury on her right hind leg then shortly thereafter an ACL injury on her left hind leg. We tried several braces, none of which worked, before finally finding the LISPOO brace. The LISPOO brace stays in place, provides support without inhibiting movement, and is so comfortable for my puppy that she does not try to remove the brace on her own. After using the brace for several months my puppy is finally healing. My puppy and I thank you LISPOO !!!

    Save your money.
The brace does not fit well. The hinge is well below my dog’s knee. If I put it on him, I think it is doing more harm than good because he has to fight the hinge in the wrong place. I spent a lot of money on this product and I am extremely disappointed.

    Best product out there.
Best quality of all the products I have tried. Take the time to get good at putting it on and it will be worth it. I have a husky and he is a lot to handle but he actually likes these once he realized what they do for him.

    Needs more design improvements
I thought this was the best thing for my dog who’s knees are really arthritic, but the device has some flaws, and it’s not that practical in hindsight.1. It’s hard to put them on. so when you do put them on, you won’t want to take them off.2. the tiny strap on the back should be a least 3 times as wide and cushioned for comfort, plus a handle on top of that would be nice. I use them to help hold him up, but it’s not really designed for that with the one inch strap that goes across the back. Thats more like suspenders to keep the braces in place, which it does, but since the braces aren’t very rigid, it does little for support.3. The price was pretty steep, considering it’s not practical for what i needed it for.I found using a male pee band or a towel works better for support than trying to grab that thin strap. Now of course, you may use them differently, but this was what i purchased them for and i found it not very useful for that. If you’re just looking for light support, and not trying to manually hold your dogs legs up by the strap across the back, then by all means this might be what you want. I just found it’s not very useful for that purpose.

    Works great!
My lab tore his ACL and we wanted to protect the other one (which apparently he tore, yet never exhibited signs or symptoms of such) this brace allowed him to have more freedom as it protected the joint from excessive cranial tibial thrust. We wanted to maintain his level of fitness while still abiding by our vet’s recommendations. A little background on our lab— he was a very energetic year and 3 months and 92 pounds of lean muscle that we would average 5-7 miles of walking before the injury. This brace allowed us to maintain 5 miles a day of leash walks as this was his version of “taking it easy” (he still managed to gain 9.4 pounds in the just under 2 months of reduced activity). He was put on gabapentin (for calming and pain), carprofen, and trazodone (as needed for calming). Combined with the aforementioned therapies this brace allowed him to no longer limp. Now onto why I am rating this 4 instead of 5 stars. If your dog pulls, do not attach your leash to the provided leash ring, our dog pulled that open on us and thankfully didn’t take off. The square ring that connects the harness to the braces also came unclasped and weaved its way through the harness. Customer service for this company was FANTASTIC and sent us a new contraption free of charge. The Velcro does not last more than a month at best, whether it gets gummed up with dog hair or it looses its grasp I’m not sure. We had to fine tune the braces every so often as the material stretched or his muscles in his good leg grew (I wish I had taken the company up on a custom one for the replacement as it began to fit poorly as his good leg compensated). The straps began to pull away from the braces or “chaps” as we called them. Now that being said, we kept them on him more than the company recommends so I accepted responsibility for that. All in all, great product, tremendous customer service, and would definitely recommend to bridge the gap until surgical correction!

Your fur baby will love you forever 😍
Measure your dog as instructed and your dog will love you forever!!! The brace was a good fit! Took a minute for my dog to get adjusted to the apparatus but he soon did and knee is better!

Not appropriate for long-haired, active dogs with an acute injury
This brace didn’t fit on my long-haired dog’s injured leg. This brace was very uncomfortable for my dog. It was extremely difficult to get the brace on and once on, my dog refused to walk.Braces are a cheap alternative to surgery, but it didn’t work for my young, previously health, active, long-haired dog. I would not recommend this product.

This is the best brace for a CCL on a large dog that we’ve tried, EXCEPT the strap that holds the brace up over the rear hip cuts across our male dog’s penis, before his testicles, which has created an abrasion tear on his sheath. This would be a 5 star product for a FEMALE dog. We have ordered the double leg version instead as there is no strap under the belly, which should avoid this abrasion injury.

I wanted to love this product, I really needed a brace for both my dogs back legs. She tore her CCL and I wanted to support both legs. It fits perfectly, it’s pretty easy to put on and the color is truly adorable.BUT. The strap that joins the harness to the strap across the back end keeps sliding sideways. You will constantly be adjusting it, there’s no way to secure that portion of the brace. Worse still, the straps are thin and cut into the skin when the dog lies down and they’re pulled tight, so you HAVE to move the middle strap off to the side and relieve the tension and then the leg wraps fall off.In other words, if the dog is just standing there it’s great. As soon as the dog moves in literally anyway the whole contraption needs constant adjustment. I’m petty disappointed but the cheap Velcro one I got for $40 works better, and for $250 this should function a whole lot better than it does. I am returning it, and there doesn’t seem to be a hassle so for that I am grateful.

I order the XL for my 85 lb dog. It doesn’t go all the way around his leg. When you have a dog who can’t bear weight on his leg, it makes getting this contraption on VERY difficult. Having done more research, there are much better options (check out ortho dog) for about the same price. I would like to return please.
