Works great!!
I love this product! It keeps the litter in the box instead of falling between the box and receptacle. It is a little tricky the first time to get it on right, but itâs wirth every penny! Iâve used these for several years and itâs the only reason I still have a Littermaid box.

super handy!
i got this little thing in the hopes that it would reduce the amount of spillage and cleanup i would have to do around the litter box (the types of product this fits are sort of messy because of the type of litter needed). while there is still some overflow i would say that it reduces my clean up time by about 5 minutes. considering it was taking me 20 before thats pretty significant. (im disabled, everything takes me a long time). could i do without the littergard? yes certainly, but i sure do like it.easy to install (under 5 minutes of time for me). durable (even my messy, irritable cat who chews and claws at her box out of sheer meanness hasnt pulled it off yet). for the price it is very very good
Sometimes I Use it –
Overpriced for just Cardboard and Duct Tape
From the pictures, I was expecting a piece of formed plastic with adhesive. When the package arrived, it was very light and “flimsy”. Upon opening, I discovered a piece of coated cardboard with white duct tape. FOR NINE DOLLARS!!! A strip of cardboard and duct tape.Obviously, I didn’t even try to use it. I packaged it all back up and returned it unused for a refund.I dug around the house found a plastic divider, cut it to size and duct taped it to the litter box. It cost less than 50 cents and is much sturdier than the piece of crap they are selling for $9.If you don’t have plastic, use a piece of cardboard, you’ll still be further ahead than buying this. Even if it was $3, it would be overpriced.

Good but not for me
I had trouble rating this because it just tape. Someone recommended it for the litter maid litter box and I wanted to make sure I had everything to make it the best experience. But, it’s expensive tape the you have to buy every time you change receptacles. It works and is very helpful. The product itself is good, if you have money like that. I just dont.

Good product a little expensive
I purchased this item when I bought my 3rd littermaid. The product works as described, however the directions could have been a little clearer about exact placement. I had to move it as didn’t get it aligned correctly first time. Very important that the litter tray is clean where this is going. I started with a new littermaid tray so no issues for me there. With my 2nd littermaid, I made something similar to this using packing tape. With my 3rd littemaid (680) I don’t really need this as the receptacle fits much better now than a prior model. Long term this item may be more useful. I may not know as I plan to modify my set up to include a riser and chute so won’t use a receptacle anymore.Based on the fact I have made something similar before, I find the cost to be a little high, but I definitely recommend the product if you don’t want to make one yourself. One improvement i will possibly make is to add tabs that extend outside the receptacle as you do have to pull this item out of the receptacle to remove the receptacle. This means one may have to touch the litter. i will try to update this review after I set up my chute to see if this item is needed or helpful.

Does keep litter from getting through.
The only problem with this is when you change the poop catcher the over laying flap gets caught. If you don’t pay attention and forget to pull it out litter falls again. Also make sure you wipe the inside of your litter box before installing or the dust will cause it to come off. Make sure you clean and dry the area first.
